Which young jockeys out there does everyone consider the best young talent?

I must admit I’ve been watching Jonjo’s young conditional, Maurice Linehan, and think he has a fantastic future in the game. I’m sure spending time around Messrs O’Neill and McCoy, can’t be doing him any harm either.

Agree about Maurice Linehan would also add young Brendan Powell to the list.

agree Paul and would go further , young Powell is better now than his dad ever was …

He will go far if he is minded properly , and that seems to be the case

Mikey Fogarty has become one of the best young amateurs in Ireland.

But still has a lot to learn about following instructions.

He totally ignored instructions of a trainer that were given in my presence, resulting in a very poor run from the horse. The horse has subsequently gone on to much better things ridden differently.

I think can guess the horse you’re referring to. If I’m right, he was out-ridden by one of best amateurs around :?:
