Desperate to bet Midnight Lion, after his run at Newcastle, but got to be a doubt he’ll be back out as soon. He’s some price at 25’s too, and I’m watching for any jockey booking
Stablemate Humble Spark, probably better than what we seen on Saturday, and he’s interesting, as is The Reverend

one of my favourite handicaps of the year, weather seems to be set fair all week at Haydock
I think that Stressfree has an excellent chance in this. He won at this C/D
on 31st May sitting well off the pace and coming through with a wet sail to
win cleverly by a neck. The handicapper stuck another 5lbs on him which is
fair enough. Last time out he ran no kind of a race in the Duke Of Edinburgh
Stakes at Ascot, trailing in 15th of 18. He went off at 7/1 and the stewards
questioned O’meara but he said that the gelding was unsuited to ground with any
word of “firm” in it, he needed some give. As Nick says the weather at haydock
is generally fine, perhaps a little light rain late afternoon today but they do
forecast steady light rain throughout Saturday. It won’t alter the going greatly
but it should take any mention of “firm” out of the going. I haven’t bet him yet,
he’s only mentioned on a few bookies with 12/1 being best. I’ll keep a constant
look and grab that if it appears to be being bet but I was hoping for something
like 16s. He also needs 4 to drop out so beware.Stressful – Best price at the moment, 12/1

list, he is of course 3rd by weight so no problem him running if

all of a sudden from out of nowhere the Met office tell us there could be a fair amount of rain hitting haydock. Oh well it is what it is
Stressfree camp , looks like this has been the aim and he’s the class horse in the field
