March 19, 2011 at 14:56 #346212Well done on being back in the black Billion
March 20, 2011 at 10:24 #346327BENCH WARRENT took the bank down to
£1.45 but still if only just in the black.
There is not a selection today (Sunday) but allows time for reflection.
This experiment has been running for over a month now and £1.45 is not much of a reward by anyones standards and so I have decided on a revamp but still with the principles of "Old Mort" very much in mind.
Keeping to the "fastest race horse" Lawrence Taylor’s best six of the day will still be the selection source.
Bettering the Forecast Starting Price will continue to be the "
value
" aim but I will change from The Mirror to the Racing Post.
In search of a better profit I will change the staking plan to one I have only just found in the "Betting The VDW Way" booklet where losses are added to the bank every time it fall under the starting figure. I will take a mythical £20.00 and stake 5% and so the first bet will be £1, should it lose the bank falls below the starting figure and therefore the loss is added to the bank and become £21 of which 5% £1.05 will become the next stake and so forth.
Selection will also become harder and must be in the front of the betting forecast, say the first four and this should be reflected with the available market when placing a bet.
I am expecting fewer selections and hope they will be of better quality.
