No surprises here for me, and the one who jumps out as per, is Euchen Glen.

He’s came back from injury as good as ever, and he’s not ran a bad one yet. It’s made more sense to bet him on the day the last twice though, and I could see the price holding, should a string enough field be declared.
At the moment I’m going to wait, as there’s also the prospect of The Cesarewitch on the horizon, and I’m increasingly interested in him for that. Trainer likes a runner in that race, so another couple of pounds shaved off him here wouldn’t hurt.
12’s is fair though, and I haven’t completely ruled him out.
Others of note include…..
Rajinsky
Cape Coast
Apparate
Brandon Castle
Just In Time
On To Victory…and I don’t fancy splitting that lot right now, so happy to hold fire.
September 1, 2020 at 11:47 #1499454Cape Coast 8-1 ew.
September 2, 2020 at 18:18 #1499591No entry for Euchen Glen in The Cesarewitch, so happy for an early bet here, though main bet will be after Final Decs, should there be extra places.
Euchen Glen 14’s
September 3, 2020 at 20:47 #1499750I have the whole field bar 2 within 8lbs of the top so on the face of it a very close contest, but quite a few are exposed. Two look strong candidates to me:
AUSTRALIS – top rated on my figures. Went close at Newcastle and then ran into trouble when making his effort at Ascot. Key for me is that he is now back at a distance he has won at. Better than a 14/1 chance in my eyes.
CAPE COAST – Not showing up well in the ratings but caught my eye when a decent second off a long layoff at Thirsk. Stepped up on that to win when upped in trip at Newmarket last time on soft ground. Very solid at a general 8/1.
September 5, 2020 at 09:52 #1499922I agree Rob, Cape Coast very solid here, and I’ve taken 10-1. Just In Time at 12-1 also appeals, and I’ve went with him too.
These are both win only.
September 5, 2020 at 10:50 #1499936The type of race where I’d usually have a couple running for me, but I’ll just top up Euchen Glen to five places.
Saglawy is an interesting one here, having first run for Nicholls, and looks a fair old price at 33’s.
September 5, 2020 at 12:21 #1499951Euchen glen,s a huge price , I’ve played him , I also had a good luck at nicholls horse but just played the 1
Pick 3 on Saturday champion 2025/2026
September 5, 2020 at 13:23 #1499956I think Brandon Castle has a good chance here. He’s been in decent form
hurdling and will love the ground. He’s got Hollie Doyle in the plate and if she sets a
decent pace from the front he might be hard to peg back.Brandon Castle 9/1

Thanks guys, lost the plot there, I knew when Mulrennans wife didn’t mention him on The Opening Show, or before the off, that he must have some chance.
Well done HDLG too.
