    Black Corton has had a disappointing season, but I think this might just be the perfect race for him, and he makes some appeal at 5’s, especially after swerving Aintree, and Cheltenham.

    At 12’s, Gold Present is tempting too. Running his best race for some time when he came down heavily at Ayr. If no Ill effects, he could come into this too, but Black Corton looks more obvious

    I’ll go for two small selections here.

    I’ve always liked Go Conquer and at 8-1, I’ll bet him for the win. At 20-1, I think Josses Hill could run into a place. His jumping sometimes isn’t too good, but I think he’s better than those odds, so I’ve bet him each way.
