All the horses who I’ve got down as would prefer a sounder surface and / or less of a test of stamina have been backed / shortened this morning. Seaward, Dance Sequence, Secret Satire, even (going up significantly in trip) Ylang Ylang.
Strangely the same can not as yet be said about the Corry Cup.
Value Is EverythingMay 31, 2024 at 10:46 #1696172Think the bookies been looking at the forum again no sooner had we mentioned Dance Sequence had she shorted significantly overnight to 12/1
Got 20s last night

May 31, 2024 at 11:24 #1696183Will stick with Ylang Ylang 8-1 ew and Rubies Are Red 33-1 ew. Good luck all.
May 31, 2024 at 11:28 #1696185Well done getting the 20’s Dance Sequence vkx.
I don’t think she had even been mentioned that much up to last night on this Thread and then boom💥 she’s down to 12/1.😄Still got to go out there and win it but she is the second highest rated filly in the field..that’s why I had to take the 20/1..couldn’t see her going off that price.
Looking forward to this one.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 31, 2024 at 11:40 #1696189I suspect Ylang Ylang is going to show a lot of improvement here but sticking with Secret Satire.
The more I know the less I understand.
May 31, 2024 at 12:25 #1696195If Dance Sequence goes clear don’t count your chickens. Wanders all over the place once under pressure. Timeform are getting the squiggle ready as we speak (write).
Value Is EverythingMay 31, 2024 at 13:41 #1696208I think she got unbalanced in the dip Ginger and showed a tad of greeness, they would have been working on that at Moulton Paddocks. If she doesn’t wander and she stays we could see a different filly today.

It’s a very open race I’m just looking forward to seeing something with future champion potential win this today.
JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...May 31, 2024 at 13:53 #1696211I must be the only one here that doesnt see an open race or any betting potential, ylang ylang will win, ezeliya will be second and past that rar will improve marginally for the track ahead of forest fairy, there will be no big price surprises today
I do not know why ylang ylang isnt 4/5-4/6 this, i wouldnt want to be laying her atall today
Not backing her either because she can throw in a howler from time to time, but i wouldnt want to bet against her either
As always ill be the first to come back here and say i was completely wrong, but i cant see that today
May 31, 2024 at 13:57 #1696212Agree ham,
Personally, I don’t think it is as open as many believe.
Three horses take out 70% of my 100% book. Ylang Ylang alone 40%.Value Is EverythingMay 31, 2024 at 14:05 #1696213“I do not know why ylang ylang isnt 4/5-4/6 this, i wouldnt want to be laying her atall today

Eh?
Surely if you can’t see “why Ylang Ylang isn’t 4/5-4/6”, then logic states it does not matter whether she can “throw in a howler” when she’s available @ 6/4 it’s a bet with a capital B?
Value Is EverythingMay 31, 2024 at 14:45 #1696218Dance Sequence now second favourite on the exchanges.
Have I got her wrong?
Value Is EverythingMay 31, 2024 at 14:47 #1696219Ylang Ylang is 1/1 for a top 3 finish with betfair sportsbook for those that can get on

May 31, 2024 at 14:52 #1696220Andrew Balding has Secret Satire… And yet imo he has two at home who would’ve had a better chance if coming here.
Value Is EverythingMay 31, 2024 at 15:35 #1696236Kevin Blake has decided on stride analysis Ylang Ylang and Secret Satire are big negatives. Be interesting to see.
The more I know the less I understand.

In other words the stride analyser gave him a bit of paper with the info and he’s done a write up on it ;o)
May 31, 2024 at 15:56 #1696247I think both Ylang Ylang and City Of Troy will win impressively.
May 31, 2024 at 16:17 #1696257I’ve backed Forest Fairy to run the steam out of Ylang Ylang in the closing stages.
