Acapulco returns to action tonight in US.Trainer Wesley Ward says one more run after this, before a trip back to Royal Ascot(she won Queen Mary last season)
She’s still in the betting for the 1000 Guineas. Stan James and Racebets should be ashamed of themselves.
The Kings Stand seems a much more likely target if the big filly has trained on.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.

The 7/4 quote is utter nonsense.
That was a very low quality race she won at Turfway Park, hence the 3/10 starting price. She broke well but seemed to be purposely kept behind those who were allowed to go on. You always felt she was getting there as she came wide and closed up pretty easily but there was a little bit of rousting required to go claim the leader and she didn’t win by as far as looked likely initially.
The meeting round up can be found here,https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sdL80R1Lq3o wind the video on to exactly 20 minutes in for race 9 and see what you make of it yourself. I am still convinced she is a 5 furlong horse at most. The capitulation in the Nunthorpe was clearly one of a horse who has a small amount of petrol in a big tank. I reckon she’ll be found out in the sixth furlong of the Commonwealth Cup and would be better served getting weight in the Kings Stand, where one firm offers 3/1, which is totally unappealing as well.
My two for the Commonwealth Cup are Shalaa at 8/1 and La Rioja at 14/1, I won’t be getting involved on Acapulco as a saver and Boylesports need to get in touch with planet reality offering 7/4, Sweet Jebus

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
February 20, 2016 at 12:44 #1234525LOL steve (boylesports) thanks for link, tbh last night really only confirmed she still had a leg in each corner.Nice the 8s you’ve bagged on Shalaa,as Mt Gosden does seem set in the idea he goes CC rather than guineas route.
Hows things been mate? i’ve just been going through old races from last year,to get me through the dark winter nights.
All my Dante restaurants booked, three day badges bought and the lincoln around the corner, things are looking better.lol - AuthorPosts
