Cue Card definitely running in the Supreme, but with the door to the Champion Hurdle, not fully closed.
So it’s not definite then?
See Pricewise has put up Zaidpour and Al Ferof. I am sure everyone who didn’t see Zaidpour as the second coming will just trust the evidence of their own eyes and expect him to be woefully outpaced on quicker ground. As for Al Ferof what evidence is there that he can overturn the drubbing he received in last season’s bumper? Cue Card was in a different league in bumpers and has already shown much better form over hurdles.
February 16, 2011 at 14:08 #340887Does anyone know for certain that Our Girl Salley is going for the Mares Hurdle? I notice she has an entry for the neptune but wouldn’t want to back if she won’t run in either. Been searching for articles all over but can’t find any concrete info.
Will be very grateful for the help if anyone knows anything???

There is no chance of Geraghty riding in the Neptune so I would think if she goes it will be in the Mares. I considered backing her at 14/1 but am a little concerned that she may be better over a shorter trip.

February 22, 2011 at 18:46 #341749What’s going on with Bob’s Worth? He won the best novice hurdle run this season (over the Neptune trip) so why all of a sudden is the market suggesting Henderson is considering moving him to the Albert Bartlett? He is the proven performer amongst the Henderson novices and it is the others who should be shuffled around him. I haven’t backed him for any race but those who had supported him as by far the most likely winner of the Neptune must be feeling more than a little cheesed.

i’ve backed him for the neptune,so hope thats his target.pricewise has tippped up minella class for the neptune, hoping the market might just be responding to this
March 10, 2011 at 10:32 #343998The Neptune has to be one of the least talked about graded races. Maybe it’s due to the fact that there are question marks about several leading players participation.
I have backed First Lieutenant at 14s. I think he has an outstanding chance. He has some very good form in the book in beating Zaidpour and Hidden Cyclone (won two graded races since) over an inadequate 2m. He will surely appreciate the better ground, being by Presenting and having won on good ground over 2m4, and is a definite runner. Mouse and Davy tick the boxes aswell.
I think he will go off at single figures on the day.
March 10, 2011 at 11:24 #344007I like First Lieutenant as well, but read they still haven’t discounted the Supreme. Hopefully they see sense and stick with the Neptune
March 10, 2011 at 11:32 #344008Mouse Morris has confirmed Grade One winner First Lieutenant will run in the Neptune Investment Management Novices’ Hurdle at Cheltenham next week.
"He’ll run in the Neptune," said the County Tipperary handler
"He’s a horse I haven’t had any major hiccups with, and that’s a bonus."March 11, 2011 at 22:35 #344257Is Henderson still dithering about Bob’s Worth? If he ends up in the Albert Bartlett in favour of Minella Class (exposed and well beaten at the trip) you have to wonder if it is Buckley rather than Henderson running the show.

Quote from Saturday’s Post ‘We run Bobs Worth and Minella Class in the Neptune’ so why is Bobs Worth out to 10/1 on exchanges for the Neptune and now 3/1 for the Albert Bartlett? Time to ditch his column as he is clearly taking punters for a ride.
