I like the chances of Hot Fuss here at 20-1 ew 5.
His trainer thinks he’s bouncing after being given the summer off, having run flat in the Chester Cup and his proven stamina could be advantageous on the ground. He’s also drawn in last year’s winning stall as a clincher.Added another low drawn slogger in Tashkan 50-1 ew 5. Don’t think he ran that badly recently in the group 1 Cadran but has been dropped 4lb.
Metier is a horse I’ve bet a couple of times, and he never looked like repaying me. I’ve given him another chance here though with conditions fine for him
If Tiernan stays around current odds, he’s likely to be EW option

Grey Cuban EW – 18/1
Yet to win at the distance but he ran a decent 3rd to Hamish over 1m4f in a Class 1 Listed race at Chester (13th Sept) and has a good draw.Oneforthegutter EW – 25/1
Again drawn well and ran a decent 3rd to Lord Melbourne in this last year.
Although in great form I don’t think Lord Melbourne will win this again. Last year he carried 8st8lb to victory but this year he has a stone more to carry whereas Oneforthegutter remains fairly well in at 9st.0lb..and could spring a surprise if he returns to previous form.

Today backed the horse he beat at York, Insanity 20s.
Both ewI’ve bet Tashkhan many times over the last few season, so At 80-1 I have to have an ew punt
