After promising myself to take a wee break after finishing my other thread yesterday, I end up getting about a dozen messages looking to see if I want to go to Hamilton today (I don’t, it’s p1ssing down), so I end up, naturally, looking at the racing pages anyway. Oh well, here we go again…….
1410 Hamilton – Baron Run, Pennine Warrior
£1 Reverse Exacta1500 Newmarket – Huntsmans Close, Supplicant, Blaine
50p Combination Exactas, Trifectas-£8
May 3, 2015 at 13:46 #934815Hope you get the Newmarket one up VTC!! Because I have backed two of those LOL
May 4, 2015 at 11:50 #936327Thanks Homer, very happy with that start, couldn’t believe the price of Huntsmans Close in the morning, and he was a strong fancy. I’ll be following him this year for sure. The only sting in the tale was Accession finishing 4th @ 25’s, he was left out at the last minute, was kicking myself haha.
May 22, 2015 at 09:32 #1055565Bob not chat with you for a bit how you mate any thoughts on handicaps at Royal Ascot the Wokingham and royal hunt cup put my bets in both threads.
How you been mate
May 29, 2015 at 13:30 #1086336Hey Darren, long time no speak mate, I hope you are well. Very very sorry for the late reply, was totally unaware you had posted.
Just had a look at your picks Darren, very best of luck with them. In The Hunt Cup, I really like Emell @ 25’s, and in The Wokingham, I’m with you with Huntsmans Close. I bet him in The Silver Cup when he won last year, and I also had a decent go on him at Newmarket earlier this month. I’m not one for favourites, but even at this stage, I don’t see any reason not to have a go at the 16’s. I hope it’s a good omen for you…………..rather than me jinxing you haha.
Others I like are Intrinsic, Interception and Blaine in The Wokingham, and Chill The Kite, and Lincoln in The Hunt Cup.
May 30, 2015 at 17:41 #1087376Just has a £1,250 vets bill; how can I win enough to cover it [ouch]!
May 31, 2015 at 11:26 #1087918Ouch indeed Moe.
BREEZY KIN at Fakenham is a good 4/1 shot who will go close. Find three other winners and stick them in a lucky 15.Blackbeard to conquer the World
June 6, 2015 at 12:19 #1095614The Dash
Boom The Groom, Steps, Barnet Fair, Monsieur Joe
50p Combination Exactas, 40p Trifectas-£118.20
Again, pardon my language…………..jesus f’cking wept!
June 6, 2015 at 17:26 #1096040Great effort VTC, I feel for you!
Keep the faithJune 7, 2015 at 11:20 #1097027Thanks Karinga…….not got over it yet, was my second like that in just over a month, had another at Punchestown as well. Just got to get on with it………….so here we go again haha
1530 Goodwood – Lady Gibraltar, Slip Sliding Away
£1 Reverse Exacta1625 Perth – Yes Tom, Man With Van, Anay Turge
50p Combination Exactas, Trifectas-£126.20
June 7, 2015 at 11:51 #1097055I thought I was unlucky with 1st and short head 3rd in that handicap at Hamilton the other day, but 2nd, 3rd and 4th in big sprint handicap rather takes the biscuit! There must be a big payout around the corner.
June 7, 2015 at 12:05 #1097081VtC; that would have paid my vets bill!! By the way, has stevecaution really left us?? Was he joking?
June 8, 2015 at 19:25 #1099753Oh I was gutted Rob, and especially after I followed you in with that 1st and 3rd at Hamilton. I also had Chookies Lass, and Eland Ally edged out for the forecast in the 1430 at Hamilton (not put up on here), and followed up with Rioja Day, and Paddys Rock just missing out………..I then left out Titus Bolt, and went for Voice From Above with Schmooze for the exacta in the last, it came up………….but no use for this thread aaaaaaarggghhhh. To top things off, Lady Gibraltar, and Slip Sliding Away nearly came in yesterday………….not having much luck haha.
I should be happy with my few winners at Hamilton, and my Boom The Groom ew @ 28’s, and Lady Gibraltar, but I can’t lie, I’m still a wee bit gutted, especially after the same thing happened at Punchestown last month

June 8, 2015 at 19:27 #1099771I would have gladly paid it for you moe haha………………I hadn’t heard about Steve, I hope that’s not true, cause he’s great on here. Has he fallen out with someone, or just got bored? What have I missed????????
June 8, 2015 at 19:28 #1099772Oh I hope you’re right Gord………….I’m thinking Hunt Cup or Wokingham, easy peesy haha
June 8, 2015 at 21:48 #1099960He said after getting the 1,2,3 in the Derby that he’d promised his wife he’d give pack it in. He’ll be a real loss to the forum. On top of that my racing club has folded as well; only found out when we got the last newsletter; I’m absolutely gutted [it was like being dumped by text…]
