Midnight Lion was always unlikely to get in The Plate, but happy to give him a chance in this.
Edit – I’d kick myself if stablemate came in, so added Letsbefrank
Letsbefrank 50’s EW
Midnight Lion 33’s EW6PlsJune 27, 2025 at 18:57 #1734768I’ll take a chance on Alnayef each way at big odds. Just an inkling that this might have been the plan since stable debut with two quiet runs since.
June 27, 2025 at 18:58 #1734769I’ve had a late browse through the Northumberland Vase and I think that
Artissan Dancer looks the right type. I think Johnson purposely put him
in 2 1m 6f races where he was running on well at the end. He was third
the time before over 2m4f and won over 2m the time before at Ripon.I’ve taken everything I could, (not a lot) between 18 and 12.5. on the
Exchange 12 is best of what’s left but probably the 10/1 e/w with many
bookies is better than 12 (11/1) on the nose.June 27, 2025 at 20:09 #1734780Humble Spark 12/1. Runner up to progressive Caballo Del Mar last time over this trip. Tends to start slowly, hopefully not too tardy tomorrow.
June 27, 2025 at 23:29 #1734812I agree with that one Chivers, he looks the most realistic of the yards runners, and I’ve taken 10-1. Well done on getting the 12-1.
I was also going to follow in tyt or VtC with the bigger priced runners, but the outsider I’ve landed on is Vaguely Royal, and I’ve taken 65-1 ew

Some decent form here; whether good enough up against this field is doubtful, for sure, but why not?
Prob should’ve punted e/w, but hey
EDIT: Added
Zimmerman each way 40s (1st 5) Free BetBest of luck to all today
June 28, 2025 at 12:33 #1734897Humble Spark 8-1.
The more I know the less I understand.
June 28, 2025 at 14:49 #1734925Well done VtC with the place
June 28, 2025 at 17:11 #1734965Thanks RTB, just for a moment thought he was getting there
