Thanks for that added info mate, I was thinking the horse might be more of a Martin Pipe type, unless Nicky thinks the horse won’t like the track and wants to target the flat tracks, he has only ran at Nerbury, Kempton and Aintree after all.
Ben-Henderson thinks that Walking On Air could be a Stayers’ Hurdle horse. Mind you, it could be a plot job for the Martin Pipe. 🤷♂️
Nice one as well Glad, I’ll take Nickys word for it as he certainly knows more about horses than I do. I’d trust his judgement and assuming all is sound I’ll probably back the horse for whichever race it ends up running in, though I’d be more confident if it did indeed line up in the Martin Pipe.
Walking on Air a respectable 3rd in that race at Aintree, eemingly lacking the pace of the front 2. The horse is out again tomorrow but this time over the 3m trip which Glad rightly pointed out could be the horses preferred trip according to Nicky, it’s the 1.55 Doncaster.
Found a cheeky £10 sat in my Coral account from a non-runner a couple of weeks ago so put it on Walking on Air, I trust Nicky that the horse wants 3m!

You could be right Nathan, but it seems the horse just doesn’t find a lot, I often find with these sorts of horses that look classy if they let me down once I’ll forgive them and give them a second chance but after two let downs with no proper excuses I tend to accept I got it wrong.
