    Any news? He had quite a traumatic National – unshipped from State Of Play and he then brought down Rare Bob who then brought down Chicago Grey – and Noel was being treated, I assume causing the fence to be omitted second time round. I can’t find anything on Racing Post … that could have been another tragedy as both horses came down with a bang …

    He broke his leg and is looking at three months out.

    Not a terrific end to the season for the immensely likeable lad but with a Champion Hurdle under his belt, it could have been a lot worse for him.

    Terrible luck for Fehily. But it looked a very nasty fall/incident so you are right, could have been much worse.
