    If you are having a bet this afternoon it has been raining for the last 45 mins, at times heavily.

    There were also some showers earlier on this morning.

    The going is still officially Good to Firm but the feeling here is the rain may have loosened the surface.

    It has stopped raining now and there is a fairly strong wind (tail wind )

    It is still grey and I would not rule out any further rain.

    Most animals especially horses turn their tail to the wind.Tight asses I suppose.

    A going change with a very strong wind the going is now Good to Firm, firm in places

    The wind is stronger than yesterday and a different angle – yesterday it was full behind today it is side on from their right as they race.
