Don’t forget the Silver Ring is now closed, so there’s almost bound to be a reduction in numbers.

Newbury didn’t seem as busy, although that’s a good thing as far as I am concerned. £30 is steep for a day in tatts, I certainly won’t pay that sort of money and applaud your decision not to pay R&S. May be they’ll bring it down next year. Shame Newbury don’t do the Tatts membership anymore, used to be great value. I am a full member now but Tatts Grandstand didn’t look as chocka.

What about becoming a full member (flat and jumps) for £305 (around £10 a meeting)? Or just Jumps @ £150 for 11 racedays. Or if you can’t get there midweek, there’s Weekend Membership £200 for 15 days.

Quality-wise can’t see Hennessey day was any worse than last year’s card.

    Value Is Everything
