My ma got one of them new fangled oil-burning stoves when I was at school, so I had to leave. I mean, it literally broke my hearth :(

Okay, what about a photo of the 2010 Grand National winner, Garde Champetre, negotiating the bank at Punchestown?

A French bred, ex English chaser? For shame!

Yes, but I was trying to think of something that was distinctively Irish – and I thought of the cross-country course at Punchestown. The one at Cheltenham is merely derivative.

The colours are instantly recognisable (as Irish), so that is another thing that I took into consideration.
