Just to let you all know, the syndicate have now purchased a second horse, The Village. A nice young horse who was a little weak and immature on his debut but still showed up well and then needed his run last time in a hot irish bumper, he will go to Lucinda Russell where Outlaw Tom is.
Looks a good prospect, looking forward to seeing him in the flesh at the weekend. Good find Paul.
Weather was absolutely dire and we all got well soaked. Cold with horizontal rain up the top of the woodchip gallop overlooking Milnathort. That aside, The Village created a decent impression working up the slope.
First target is the 2m novice hurdle at Newcastle on January 29th, the same day as Outlaw Tom’s next intended race. There are a few progressive sorts entered so it may be a tough little contest, but it should give us a decent clue as to what we have.
