A New £3m Injured Jockeys Rehabilitation Centre is to be built in North Yorkshire.
It will prevent injured jockeys from having to travel long distances to get treatment in Berkshire.

I know Oaksey House is a magnificent place. Going there on the 4th Feb for a Racing Quiz.
Value Is EverythingJanuary 18, 2014 at 20:21 #465267Great to see this moving forward.
I was reading one of the PJA Chief Exec’s New Year resolutions is to work towards all jockeys having Private Medical Insurance cover. Another initiative that Racing should support 100% and find the funding for as a matter of urgency.
January 19, 2014 at 16:59 #465323Brilliant, and owes an awful lot to the hard work, vision and tenacity of Jack Berry. You see Jack around a lot of racecourses in the north, in all weathers, working hard with his fellow IJF colleagues. Of course, he knows at first hand the perils and tragedies that are present with every hoofbeat, and he’s creating a great legacy.
