    HONOURABLE MENTIONS

This section was designed to give acknowledgement to those that was unlucky with their particular choices, although they might still scored with others.

    UNPLACED SELECTION: BRUNEL NATION

Only REFUSE TO BEND had this and it was substituted for his original win choice.

    UNUSED RESERVES

CHIVER1987 had the winner, QIRAT in this section, while TRIPTYCH had the third BLUE PRINCE.

    WRONG HORSE FOR THE WIN

TRIPTYCH again was unlucky with the runner up (AL SHABAD STORM) and MICHAEL WALSH had (BLUE PRINCE) for this section.

You've got to accentuate the positive.
    Eliminate the negative.
    Latch on to the affirmative.
Don't mess with mister in between.

    AND THE POINTS GOES TO

Four of us had this week’s winner. They were EUROALIEN, JOHN GOOCH, ILLAVIM and myself.

Euroalien, thanks to all the non runners this week only had the 1 runner.

    EUROALIEN’s old score (-109.38) – stake (50) + winnings (450) = new score (+290.62)

    JOHN GOOCH’s old score (+34.37) – stake (100) + winnings (450) = new score (+384.37)

    ILLAVIM’s old score (-300) – stake (100) + winnings (450) = new score (+50)

    RED RUM77’s old score (+156.25) – stake (100) + winnings (450) = new score (+506.25)

ROBNORTH was the only other person to score.

    ROBNORTH’s old score (-300) – stake (100) + winnings (81.25) = new score (-318.75).

While not finding any winners, WYLDESYDE was bombarded by non runners and only had the one runner in the race.

    WYLDESYDE’s old score (-300) – stake (50) + winnings (0) = new score (-350)

You've got to accentuate the positive.
    Eliminate the negative.
    Latch on to the affirmative.
