Plenty of money has come in this evening for ‘Elite Status’ and that’s fair enough, he looked handy on debut. I am surprised that ‘Blue Storm’ isn’t the current favourite though as his maiden victory has worked out incredibly well.
2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th of the 7 runners that day have won next time out. Plenty of potential in this line up and 2 year old form can be difficult to weigh up but I can’t ignore the form on offer with an added bonus of a good draw.Blue Storm 7/2
May 25, 2023 at 00:20 #1648958Agree with the stats in favour of Blue Storm Chivers. However I’m going for his half brother On Point who ran on 1000 Guineas day over 5 furlongs in a Class 3 Maiden.
Only 3 horses ran as the ground had turned very sticky after the Guineas and 5 horses were withdrawn.
Although green he ran a good maiden race holding off Mashida in a head to head dash for the post.
He just found that little bit extra at the finish and I think he will come on a lot for that run.
Absolutely stunning looking horse.On Point – WIN – 5/1
Rev.forecast: On Point/Blue Storm
Best of luck.

May 25, 2023 at 18:50 #1649045Wow that was impressive..I thought Blue Storm had it there but Elite Status flew home.
One Point slowy away and not good enough..disappointing from him.
