If you took 3 places Antepost Nathan they have to pay you 3.
As I understand it:
Yes, IF you took first three places they have to pay you out. But occasionally in ante-post races where it’s known to pretty much everyone certain horses won’t run and that’ll consequently bring the numbers down to below 8… Some bookmakers might occasionally offer only 2 places ante-post despite there being (at that time) officially 8+ runners. Or offer 3 with the proviso “only if 8+ run”. What they can not do is offer 3 places and then change to 2. Punters always need to be sure of what they’re taking when backing each way ante-post.Value Is EverythingAugust 2, 2018 at 14:52 #1361931If it was antepost and advertised as 3 places at the time of the bet, youll grt 3 places even if only 2 went to post the day the of

sorry I wasn’t clear. I was trying to say it will be interesting with regard William Hill as they have paid 2 places Ante Post recently according to a few users on twitter.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026
August 2, 2018 at 15:29 #1361940Veracious may have been well beaten last time out, but then
she did try and put it up to alpha Centauri and I don’t think
anything could have lived with her that day. I think she’s a
decent sort and 5/1 looks worth a go.August 2, 2018 at 15:30 #1361941Encouraging Wilamina has halved in price.
Value Is EverythingAugust 2, 2018 at 15:42 #1361942Finally!
It’s been a truly awful week so far for me (Tip Two Win, Expert Eye) but recouped those losses there.
A gutsy performance that and a classy ride from Buick there.
Not sure where Ballydoyle look now with Rhododendron other than the breeding sheds.
August 2, 2018 at 15:50 #1361943A lovely, game filly, but Buick won that race as much as the horse did
August 2, 2018 at 16:07 #1361949Billesdon Brook limited there not much turn of foot… probably just not G1

Hindsight is 20/20 so make the most of it!August 2, 2018 at 16:11 #1361952Buick gave the winner a great ride, Tudhope doing the right thing in keeping Urban Fox closer than usual – would’ve liked him to get upsides before the pace quickened though. Wild Illusion may or may not be the best of these, but certainly improved. Helped by the other possible prominent runners not taking up positions. Outsiders are often held up in the hope others go too fast early and pick up the pieces. Whether by design or not the usually prominently ridden Wilamina slowly away. Ran to form though. The other possible prominenter (is that a word?) Varacious – as half expected held up in order to stay the trip. Dettori’s mount didn’t settle too well but came with her chance (the race also favouring speed) but in retreat in the final strides. Although this was a career best needs to either settle better or go back down in trip. So Buick got his own way up front and in those circumstances even a length and a half difficult to make up. Urban Fox would give the winner a harder race another time. Stamina didn’t look a problem for Billesdon Brook, just yet to recapture her standout best, despite her good record at Goodwood struggled to beat Wilamina. Rhododendron disappointing, I saw Moore looking down at the fillies legs passing the post. Just as bad as Ascot and probably needs retiring, unless – like many inmates – has a virus.
Value Is EverythingAugust 2, 2018 at 16:17 #1361953Like often is the case at this meeting, front runners are doing better today since the false rail has been taken away.
Value Is EverythingAugust 2, 2018 at 22:00 #1362005Two reasons why Wild Illusion won today:-
1. I was on her the last twice but wasn’t on today.
2. She doesn’t stay a mile and a half and was simply outstayed by O’Brien fillies the previous two runs. The 10F trip here was the difference.
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
