I’m going to make my mind up after watching the Morning Line on Saturday.

    Gosh, what Morning Line analysis?

Over the years this is becoming the top fillies race in Britain, and all they do is get a selection out of Jimbo and Francome.

Yep pathetic. I turned the programme off before it got halfway through.

I planted some seeds of doubt in my own head. I took Spacious at 7s, then thought i’d better have Heaven Sent at 7s aswell because if i didn’t it would really annoy me. Has anyone else taken just one of them and it’s kinda playing on their mind a little bit ?

Always a tricky race in which to pick the winner, so for that reason, I won’t be having a bet.

    Midday should run well though.

I’ve been put off backing Spacious by Barshiba. She’ll try and make all at a fast pace. Spacious would need to set a slow-medium gallop to win this I think.

She’s a smashing horse mate. I was kinda thinking that she might want the extra furlong or two though ?

Oh I don’t fancy her to win, at all, but I just think she’ll ruin Spacious’ race.

Barshiba will no doubt attempt to make all, but I don’t think this will disrupt Spacious in any way.

Spacious is a more versatile, classier horse who doesn’t need to fight for the lead. There’s no better jockey at judging pace than Frankie, and he’ll settle his filly a few lengths behind Barshiba and probably commit quite early.

Midday, proven over further, won’t be too far away and I would imagine Tom Queally will keep an eye on Frankie’s every move.

Heaven Sent, Rainbow View and Moneycan’tbuymelove will be settled towards the rear and Ryan will be one of the last to challenge.

Heaven Sent has never convinced me over ten furlongs and her best form has been over a mile.

Midday will prefer this surface to the bog she encountered at The Curragh. She had a hard race at Epsom and could not have enjoyed herself in Ireland and it’s quite possible those races have left their mark this season. The drop in trip will not pose a problem.

Rainbow view has run well in two classics over eight and twelve furlongs, but I have little doubt this is her best distance. Conditions should be ideal, she’ll be at home round here, but her failure to win this season is a worry.

Contrary to popular opinion, I think Spacious could have the race run to suit. Hopefully, Frankie will sit a few lengths behind Barshiba and commit early. She’ll be a tough nut to crack, but has most to fear from Rainbow View and Midday – two classy fillies who should benefit from the allowances they receive.

Participation of Midday must be in doubt with this downpour.

Supporters of the Irish filly must be delighted with the rain.

8/1 looks big now for Katiyra….5/1 is the shortest i can find.

Always good to see a big of money for a Irish Invader. Hopefully today is her day

I’ve never back Rainbow View to date, and this would be her first run on ideal going. She gets further and Barshiba will ensure this is a test, so it looks good. This will be payback for all that followed her over all those cliffs.

Absolutely no excuses after this….except maybe the track? :D

Well there you go. That is as good as Rainbow View is. Great performance from Midday although it doesn’t really make an impact on the form, we all know how bad it is for the fillies.

Very happy for Henry Cecil, always nice to see him have a Group 1 winner. This Tom Queally ain’t half bad either.

Rainbow View…..we all knew she hadnt trained on so no suprise there.

Midday ran a cracking race to win….the rest were poor maybe the ground is a excuse but the 3yr olds keep smashing there elders everytime they meet.

Last year crop with hindsight look very poor even worse than this years…although Katiyra/Lush probaly have given up as History tells us.

Well done Henry Cecil….pity the cheer wont be louder as the Weather is nearly unraceable

A nice performance on unsuitable ground. What a compliment to Sariska.

Rainbow View ran another solid race. She deserves a big prize this season.

Spacious and Heaven Sent failed to see out the trip in these conditions.

The race worked out the way I suggested regarding Barshiba and Spacious, with Frankis commiting early – just got the finish wrong, although did select Rainbow View and Midday as the dangers.

Two out of three ain’t bad, but typical of my results this week!
