I have been away for a while and have been browsing through the forum. There is definitely something or someone missing! For the life of me I can’t figure what or who. Has anybody else noticed? Can anyone help?

November 12, 2005 at 17:17 #94629What is going on on this forum????? After discovering just what the missing element was and looking forward to finding out the whys and wherefores, I note that the thread that would have been a source of enlightenment has been blue pencilled. If daylight – moonlight – lamplight or whatever the censcor’s handle is, can arbitrately delete any thread that personally offends him/her, I think I’ll stick with Jim JTS and leave this lot for the lick-spittles.
November 12, 2005 at 17:47 #94630Wide of the mark Hoofski ~ Mr D deliberately libelled another member in a bid for publicity; he had to go, and so does anything which fans those particular flames ~ so say goodbye to this thread too
November 12, 2005 at 18:57 #94631There is nothing wrong with this forum, just some members who think they know better than the people who pay all the bills/work to keep this site functioning, and try to run the site in a fair and honest way to please the more senisible people within society. We have very simple rules that we feel are almost idiot proof barring the few obviously!!
The topic this week was on here for 48 hours and about the same time originally when it happened a couple of months ago. If you are not a regular visitor then that is your problem not everybody elses nor mine.
Go if this forum isn’t for you as you would clearly be doing us a favour as a simple PM to anybody from the Admin would have satisfied your curiousity.
The reason why this topic will be removed AGAIN for:
No further advertisement of either name/site will be tolerated on TRF as per previous abuse of this.
If you can’t respect our position, let me know as I could do with freeing up a little server space as this is our stance and it is not up for debate on this occassion.

December 9, 2009 at 01:24 #262887Who or what was it?
December 9, 2009 at 07:37 #262896As for the thread I cannot remember exactly.
There was a new forum that openly canvassed for
guests to migrate – this was post Davies leafletting
of his green place in Paradise. It has the word So
in it and I joined after a pm request.
Rather like once in here I had my posts
regularly altered and admin gave you a percentage
rating of your chances of being red-carded.As to the deeper implications of what lay behind
Davies shutting up shop and forcing Daylight’s handI always remember Jim’s old tight-lippety rants
– Daylight knows the real truth
– I could tell you a thing or two
– best to let sleeping dogs lieIt’s been over four years Jim and the hack Davies referred to is long gone. Isn’t it time you removed your suspenders and put on a see through ?
December 16, 2009 at 00:43 #264032Whatever happened to BIG Tony? Was he axed for being a mouthpiece for the man in black?
Is he still riding out?He was most proud of that

This Lounge was a fun read at one time.I should maybe voluntarily go back to lurk mode… before I’m pushed.
December 16, 2009 at 16:56 #264121I was quite surprised that Redman
had called for the axe on Big Tony
after he stood in for Diane’s largest asset
on the possible sale of this forum.I suppose there was possibly some
bad blood left over from the barbie.I think there was a separate issue
that banned Big bad Tony rather than
a quiet throat cut after dark,
when members were counting their losses
in bed.Jim’s referral to Diane as the log
still gets my sheep legs on laughter mode.I am pleased I asked Cormack to save that thread
it encapsualtes the mood and time
as if it were yesterday.LET’S DANCE
December 17, 2009 at 00:36 #264175What has happened to Dave Jay,moderator of this parish?
December 17, 2009 at 01:26 #264177Dunno what happened to Davros….or my Auld Reekie mucker Stavros, for that matter.

All I know is that Lazarus threads of this nature give me a more than somewhat squooshie nostalgic glow. In that spirit, I’d like to give a Delia-esque "Where are ya?" to the following:
Davros
Stavros
Razeen
Davies
Jim JTS
Kotkijet
Zoz
Zome
Burlington Bertie
Meshasheer
Peaty Sandy
Slippy Blue
Sky
Pocket Rocket
the one and only Golden Cygnet…and countless others late of this parish, who no longer boost for TRF.
I wish all of them – and all current TRF residents – an uplifting, tranquil and zip-zoop-dabulous festive season.
Cheers
GrassPS. Yes…..yes I am. Let us speak no further of this matter.

from your list
the only mate apart from Lolly’s
this forum has ever hadI honestly couldn’t handle TRF on my own but my mate could (he’s slightly interested at the moment) with help from selected members, however we will have to wait and see what LRM wants as that’s all that matters.
I’m off out in a few minutes to my mates and I will discuss it with him then.
