Yes, I also like the bumpers. No handicap marks to protect.

Love to know how many favs got stuffed in bumpers last season………I’d bet it’s the higher than novice hurdles or chases….
October 23, 2012 at 07:12 #417971I look forward to bumpers at local meetings as they my best supply of notebook horses. Patience is needed with many of them as they may take a year or two to turn into racehorses, but it’s worth the wait.
For a list of horses to follow try listing those that finish in the first four in bumpers at Kelso.
My betting record in bumpers is very good, but I only bet in them a handful of times a year and only after seeing the horses in the paddock.
