    Noon Star 100/30

Her form was franked by the 1st and third in the Lingfield oaks trial

The fav looks a good prospect but Noon Star had fitness on side and is the bet at the prices

    :good:

Have to agree with you on this one. At Lingfield the form of what already looked a decent contest at Wetherby was franked. Favourite has plenty of potential but a bit of an unknown whereas Noon Star has confirmed form in the book and in my book is a bet at 2/1 or better, although now right on that base mark across the board

Helps that the good race was at Wetherby as there will those who look down their noses at the form.

Good price FF, agree as well. Have sat the race out, but toying with a small bet on Baldings but would say Noon Star is the likeliest winner anyway.

Yes I was very surprised that 365 had her 100/30 and pp/bf 3/1 after decs had come through

    Was just the wrong price

Well i took a bit of 18s on Auria. She shaped nicely last time on her first run back. The winner is facing Snow Lantern on Friday.

The two at the head of the market have superb pedigrees and really do look capable of being top fillies, but Auria has a good pedigree herself + has a run over Teona.

Won’t say i’m expectant but i think she’s potentially a classy filly herself and 18/1 is overpriced. Balding is in good form.

I’m on Snowfall for the Oaks at 50s after her debut but even I had given up on her
Far too short a price in the Oaks now as they went no pace at all

Unless they sacrifice Snowfall I don’t think she’d want to go too hard early as it won’t help her finish her own race. Don’t think she has to lead but all depends on tactics?
Would Santa Barbara want a decent pace herself maybe better suit her too off normal pace

Hopefully they give the green light for Saffron Beach to run in the Oaks now
