    6 day ban meted out to Mulrennan;-

    In the second incident from approaching the half furlong to the winning post, having heard their evidence and viewed recordings of the race they found that MOVIESTA (USA) had interfered with SPIRIT QUARTZ (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Jamie Spencer, and then with SWISS SPIRIT, placed second, ridden by William Buick, and that the interference had not affected MOVIESTA (USA)’s placing. They found Mulrennan in breach of Rule (B)54.1 and guilty of careless riding in that he had allowed his mount to drift continuously left away from the whip without taking corrective action. They suspended him for 6 days as follows: Friday 16, Saturday 17, Sunday 18, Monday 19, Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 August 2013.

    Should have been ‘dangerous’ rather than ‘careless’ riding.
