Interesting discussion I think.
What is the most you have won from a small bet. Like a multiple; double, treble, accumulator, patent, trixie, yankee, placepot etc.
These are normally the bets the bookies love as they hardly ever come off, but you can win quite a lot from a little outlay.
Whats the most you have won from a multiple??
Thanks for answers

December 30, 2012 at 16:56 #424805My pal had a tidy double on Aaim to Prosper (Cesarewitch) and Regal Parade at York the same day. 50/1 and 14/1.
I was quite impressed as he’s normally a favourite backer!
December 30, 2012 at 18:42 #424814wast exactly a small stake but Andreas a few years back – think it was in the grand annual – paid nearly 40-1 – about 800 i think
December 30, 2012 at 20:00 #424825My wife.
A 10p coin flip when me and a mate were deciding which of her or her friend to ask out.
I was the loser in the end though obviously.

December 31, 2012 at 01:37 #424848£283 for a 66p stake two 10p ew singles and a 10p ew double + tax on The Luckpennyman and Late Night Extra at Lingfield in 1988 both won at 50/1 I’d gone a bit mad and upped my stakes from 5p as i could only catch the two races
January 2, 2013 at 16:04 #425019£1113 from a 50p lucky 15 at Hexham in 2007. Graham Lee had 3 of the winners. Just about a year later, John Smiths Cup day at York I had the first 4 winners which would have paid over £7,000 for a 50p lucky, but silly me split the bet up between the 2 or 3 televised meetings on C4 so ended up wining about £400.
A mate this year after losing for most of the week at the Listowel Festival won approximately £1,400 on a combination T/C, F/C, EW bet costing about £15 on the Cartoon Horseracing
January 2, 2013 at 19:38 #425037£10 win on Culcabock at Aintree, BF price of 180/1
January 6, 2013 at 01:39 #425464£760 from a 62p trixie at a goodwood evening meeting a couple of years ago:
yes mr president,
victoria sponge,
My shadow,
I think 7/1, 12/1 and 8/1.
A similar amount last summer from a 62p yankee on four placed horses and I can’t remember one of them!
