Why do we have to watch Punchestown and Huntingdon at the same time all day long? Why is that?
Plus the John Durkan and the Peterborough off at just about the same time…..

In-running players surely have to feel robbed of their chances.
There is only one solution for the future:
A maximum of three meetings a day with races starting at 10 minutes apart. But wait a minute, Punchestown and Huntingdon were supposed to be ten minutes apart.

Yes Punchestown was running late but whoever decided the Peterborough should go off 10mins after a grade one is a cretin.

    Absolutely ridiculous!!

I was at the big meeting of the day(Kelso) and walked into the Hills shop to watch the two big races with plenty of others. They had the pictures from Ireland and audio only from Huntingdon.

Wky couldn’t they have held the Peterborough back by five minutes?

After Sandown yesterday you have to wonder how often racing can shoot itself in the foot.

Racing Authorities and Racecourses are, like many sensible businesses and industries, looking after their customers because they need the money that their customers pay them. About eight thousand owners will put about eight hundred million pounds into the racing industry this year; that is about £100,000 each. Regular punters will put about eighty million pounds into the industry this year; and since there are about one million of them, that is about £80 each. The avid watcher of horse racing on any sort of broadcast or stream will put nothing into the industry this year. You may wish that the race schedulers and broadcasters would do a better job for you, but you are massively underbidding in the auction for who has the clout to change things.
