March 29, 2012 at 12:53 #398696Totally agree with you Lee. A sad loss to the bloddstock and racing world. A great, great horse.
Can i also just say how sadened i was yesterday after the death of U B Carefull after his facile win at Ludlow. Glimmers of Nortons Coin could certainly be seen in U B Carefull (colour wise) and sympathies go out to all connections.
Sorry Lee for slightly hijacking your post.
March 29, 2012 at 13:03 #398697I loved the quirkyness of his stock.
March 29, 2012 at 14:12 #398702Just saw the news on BBC website, sad to lose this great sire
March 29, 2012 at 16:13 #398713This is really sad. Think of the 5-10 crops of Montjeu champions we will now not get to see.
He has already had a huge impact on on the sport under both codes. We just have to look forward to his current runners and last crops to continue his legacy.
March 29, 2012 at 18:14 #398724A beautiful horse such a shame.
March 29, 2012 at 18:40 #398728Only sixteen and three Derby winners already.
Sad loss to bloodstock world. Leaves Galileo peerless.
March 29, 2012 at 19:05 #398734Lovely horse. I was lucky to be at Ascot the day he made Fantastic Light look like a selling plater. A great horse and sire. RIP.
