Lost at Market Rasen today

Incredible that there seems to be no NH meeting without a fatality. And we’re not talking falls, just horses that go wrong.

Another one that apparently went wrong at MaRa today was Very Excellent in the 3:25. Immediately pulled up after jumping three hurdles. Hopefully he is okay.

The quality of the horses running in summer NH races is very poor, but you should have 2-3 meeting in a row without any serious injuries.

Two or three meetings in a row without fatalities !!, some meetings by look of it lucky if its two or three races !! .
Anti Racing protesters were at Newton Abbot the other week , small group by looks . 4 horses died . Its hard to say that they dont have a bit of a valid point . Its dragging racing dowm imho .

Princess Unique also finished lame in the first at MR yesterday, though wasn’t pulled up. Fingers crossed for her.

I’ve followed the Kirby horses for years because of Lady Buttons so it saddens me to see her name here.

I follow Philip Kirby racing & can see that the horses are so well loved & cared for. I really feel for everybody such a sad loss RIP Misscarlett
