I was interested in Morgan Be, because he ran a really encouraging seasonal debut, but he has run poorly TWICE since. Back to the mark off which he was second in the Eider.
March 20, 2010 at 12:19 #284260Fancy Ballydub but his jumping is a worry. Looked an out-and-out stayer at Ludlow.
Think this will be one for those with less than 10-10 and wouldn’t be surprised to see Morgan Be or Lorum Leader in the shake up. Those three in a combination exacta with Mark The Book.
Inoma James is a threat but needs to improve; Badgerlaw didn’t get home last year having travelled well.
March 20, 2010 at 12:36 #284264Ballydub for me too. He’s obviously well handicapped but needs to jump well. I think he has learnt from the pearler he took on chasing debut at Exeter.
March 20, 2010 at 14:40 #284281Mark the Book and Gypsy George; one with bad legs that can’t jump and one that can’t jump [at least he couldn’t last time out]. It’s pretty wet here today and I’m assuming that Mark the Book has been doing a lot od swimming lately.
March 20, 2010 at 15:12 #284293LAventure each way for me, she will love this stamina test and is in form this season.
March 20, 2010 at 15:26 #284295OK, I’ll say it…Vintage McCoy.
March 20, 2010 at 15:28 #284296No justice. Didn’t that lot have enough success at Cheltenham. Nick Williams deserved that after another couple of near misses at the Festival.
March 20, 2010 at 15:30 #284297Are they going to stop calling this mare ‘ungenuine’ now???
March 20, 2010 at 15:30 #284298I hope the GN isn’t run on ground like that.
Winner was chucked on weight, so at least the CMP figures were spared blushes.
March 20, 2010 at 15:31 #284299great ride, well done AP for getting off after the race too, saying it wasn’t fair to stay on the horse after ge gave his all over 4miles
also great race from L’aventure, i was willing her to get back up
vf
March 20, 2010 at 15:40 #284302Blimey, that’s the worst I’ve seen it for some time. Neither of those two deserved to lose.
March 20, 2010 at 15:44 #284305I was hoping that Mark the Books jockey would get off him, give him a cup of tea and a sit down, pop over the last fence and then walk back to get me my fourth place…..

Good trainer that little Irish fella
March 20, 2010 at 16:00 #284308Gutsy performance from Synshronised and AP and credit to L’aventure she gave her all trying to get back at the winner after a 4 mile 1f race. Well done to AP getting off the horse straight after the race.
March 20, 2010 at 16:24 #284315Why does McCoy always bugger everything up for me? £20 double L’Aventure (20s) & Tranquil Tiger (3s) :'(

March 20, 2010 at 17:46 #284338No justice. Didn’t that lot have enough success at Cheltenham. Nick Williams deserved that after another couple of near misses at the Festival.
Synchronized hits 16"s after jumping the first! TAPK smells a Wichita Lineman and clicks the play button! No joy, jumps the second and gets another reminder,i hit the play button again at 14"s this time, missed again, back on the bridle i finally manage to get 10"s for a tenner! The rest is history as they say Euro, pure class from both horse and jockey under the conditions. L"aventure still 1/5 in running coming to the last! She too ran a blinder as we have seen before at Uttoxeter! One not to follow though!
