Acid test for biorhythms today.
Ladalko, close to favouritism and from a stable in form has however a set of figures re these bios that are extremely low and indicate a real trough of form today !
I’ve stuck my neck out today and laid him accordingly; more than enough to drain the colour out of me completely if comes over the last in the lead.
If he wins, I will accept defeat and give up these bios once and for all – thats a promise.
(Check out the system thread to see breakdown for this race)
March 17, 2007 at 13:03 #47099I’ve gone for Baron Windrush but would have preferred a bit of heavy in the going description. I think his record over 30f or so+ in soft/heavy is pretty good and he is on a reasonable mark.
March 17, 2007 at 15:28 #47100A Baron and a gentleman
March 17, 2007 at 15:32 #47102Very nice tipping Aranalde.
Can’t really comment on how Nil Desperandum would of done as it pulled up lame. Take The Stand ran a little better lol.
Doesn’t look like you can chuck those biorythms yet Alex:)
March 17, 2007 at 15:33 #47103Love it when i’m right 12/1. Nil Desperandum and Ladalko where a bit dissapointing.
March 17, 2007 at 15:35 #47104Quote: from Danny on 11:29 pm on Mar. 16, 2007[br]A day after Cheltenham and we have the Midlands National anyone got a strong fancy ?
For me it’s a 5 horse race Nil Desperandum, Laventure, Ladalko, Baron Windrush and G V A Ireland. But with Nil Desperandum’s main aim being the Grand National i can’t see him being given to tougher race with us being 3 weeks away from the race. G V A Ireland hasn’t been in the best of form of late so for me thats him ruled out and Laventure has on and off days so it is hard to back although if on a going day it could be a danger , Ladalko has to give quite a bit of weight to horses lower down in the handicap and has a few jumping problems with a clear round i can see him in the top 3 but for me Baron Windrush looks a clear winner he runs off a good weight and returned to form last time out when winning easily he looks great value @ 16/1. ( I could be wrong tho )
Not sure about the logic but that turned out nice too :)
March 17, 2007 at 15:35 #47105Aranalde, didn’t we do well.
12/1 winners don’t come along too often. I can breath easily again now that Ladalko ran as expected as per bio forecast.
What a good day & well done again !!

Unfortunately I think Nil Desperandum broke a leg
March 17, 2007 at 16:17 #47109well done on the Bios Alexander
March 17, 2007 at 17:06 #47110Cormack et al
You know, i’m convinced that these bios will eventually find their way into conventional form features in the sporting papers one day. I cannot see them being named biorhythms because the very name puts some people off the idea. I can however envisage a name in the press such as "interval form "or similar. The method adopted will be along the lines that I use at present.
My crystal ball says, along with weighing runners on declarations this sort of interval form detail will be the norm one day.
