Here is a video of Midday giving birth to her filly by Frankel.

If adorability is a reliable indicator of racing ability then we may well have already seen the 2018 triple crown winner.
Thanks for the link, Ken.

February 5, 2014 at 18:57 #467160Thanks Ken – great link. They are asking for suggestions as to a name. Any thoughts? Mine is
Ma Joie.
It’s the name of a rose.

In the same way ‘the good Dr’ names his horses Gabriel, all the Frankel progeny should include the word Mighty.
So take a bow……Mighty Meridianus, alternatively they could just call her ‘A Star Is Born’
February 5, 2014 at 22:48 #467184Quite emotional watching that, Midday was a particular favourite of mine and I couldn’t help thinking that Sir Henry would have been so proud of Midday as she had a special place in his heart.
How calm she was and what a great mum she is going to be. So relieved all has gone well for her and her foal. Frankel is stamping his stock brim full of quality and this little filly looks just like him.
So now there are 2 fillies and a colt and in a few months most of the 124 foals will have been born, really looking forward to seeing Timepiece’s foal, I hope she has a colt with beautiful markings just like herself and daddy of course.
Wonderful video..thanks Kenh
Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...February 5, 2014 at 23:24 #467187Cheers for the heartwarming video Ken

Wishing this lovely filly all the best in health and hope she travels a victorious path racing.
If she was my filly, I’d name her
Starshine

Dad unbeaten
I would name her
Afternoon Nap
Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
