I stood hovering over his name on the Paddy Power site and saw they were giving best odds .. I was £45 down on my Meydan bets and figured if I wagered £45 on the horse I would cover my losses..I shut my eyes and pressed ‘bet now’ the deed was done and he went out to 6/5 on the off, bravely fought his way to the line and returned me £99.
If I hadn’t have taken a chance on him I knew I would have regretted it and I’m happy that he’s shownu what he can really do. However, I was also ready to take any losses and I only bet what I could afford to lose.I enjoyed the Kraken Power Thread too Sam some really useful and informative input..

Meydan was in fact a bit of a disaster for most of us..I think Krypton kicked off with the first winner, Raymo got a 3rd in the second race and from thereon in it was a disaster. It was only my plumping all my losses on Kraken Power at Newcastle tonight at 5/6 that put me back in the black.
Thoroughly enjoyed the banter though and hopefully we can all get a few home tomorrow.Did you manage to get your Godolphin Bonus race in before you went to hospital,? I got 200 much needed Bonus points for Electrical Storm as no runners today for me.
