that is Bacalli and Indian Springs. Been on the missing list for a couple of days so apologies Nick that I haven’t had any thoughts on the Meydan decs this week yet but just about to put one up for the 2.40 and then probably wait until the 3.50. Not going mad today especially as Will Buick will be at Doha tomorrow riding three really good chances for Godolphin.

The distance a small worry but in draw no.7 I think Silver Sword will have a distinct advantage over the favourite War Hawk who ran well from a low draw on Dirt last time out but now switches to the Turf track.

NATIVE APPROACH – 25/1 EW
HALLASAN – 16/1 EWCannot understand why Native Approach is such a big price and yet Cavallo Bay is priced at 8/1 when the latter finished ahead of him last time out. They are drawn together in 7 and 8.
This horse fast becoming my cliff horse but I just know he has the class to win a race like this.I do think Hallasan will also run good race at big odds with a decent pace so I’m going against Becalli in this because of his draw and big rise in his weight (12lbs).
Hallasan was drawn 16 last time out and his run can be excused, today he will be much closer and a good EW bet 1t 16/1. Hope you got that 25’s Nick.best of luck

SECRET STATE – 33/1 – EW
With a little bit of my return for Hallasan being 2nd I had to have a speculative shot at Secret State gaining a place at big odds.
Ex Godolphin horse Secret State is by one of my favourite Mares Jacqueline Quest and his dad is Dubawi. With a string of duck eggs to his name he could easily spring a surprise here being fitted with first-time blinkers and drawn 2.
Really interested to see how this handsome chestnut runs here today..
