Doh..I picked the Grey out just as he entered the stalls..looked amazing

Well done with your 1st winner Raymo :yahoo: It was a washout for me today apart from Maximized 2nd who I will keep following.
Taking it a bit more carefully next Friday like Nick who was very very wise opting out today.

Good luck in all the Saturday comps tomorrow let’s hope it stops raining.

Godolphin Form looking a bit iffy Nick..

I can’t remember a worse Meydan for Buick & Charlie Appleby’s horses although Saeed Bin Surroor doesn’t turn out many winners these days. His best year being when Mawj won the 1000 Guineas in 2023.

Appleby’s usually got one or two short priced for the Classics but so far all his big guns are underperforming so what’s going on?

Hi troops. Sorry I seem to have been AWOL all week, I’m trying to find
a seat (that’s not covered by a sheet). We’re getting the outside walls
in the house (on the inside) ripped to bits and insulation boards fitted
and also insulation for the loft (and it’s a big loft) rolled out. It
effected the broadband so we had no laptop or telly since Thursday. They
(Outreach) will attend, as they couldn’t sort it online, on Monday !!!
I jiggered around with wires and posiion, and got it back on :yahoo:
That was on Friday evening, so I cancelled Outreach as there text said
I should if it came back on. Yep, you’ve already guessed it, it went on
the bung again. I contacted them, or a Metal Mickey, on the site. When it
realised it couldn’t sort the modem it said it would arrange an engineer
to call ON TUESDAY !!!. As it happens I managed to get it working later that
night. I’m not going to cancel the engineer, it would probably start up
10 mins after i cancelled them.

So it’s been a pig of a week but as the Scottish Govt is paying for the lot
I can put up with it I suppose. I hope you are all well, and Jac, I also
had a wash out day today and I didn’t even have a golf back up
Well done Raymo, I hear you had a winner today. At least you are keeping
the Meydan flag flying :yahoo: Keep well all :good:

I’ll probably shoot myself Darren if Si Woo Kim wins, I backed him in
the Sony Open and the American Express. However I see you’ve backed him
too Darren so I’ll just take it on the chin and shout him home for you
if he gets into that position. You’ve got a great chance in both Europe
and the US. Hopefully I’ll be back as normal next week, if my house is
    still standing up

So I’ve had the week from Hell, my pick 3 were all down and I didn’t even have
a golf bet on, which has often dug me out of a hole. So I decided I’d have a
go in-play in the last round of the Qatar Masters. Calum Hill was so far back
it looked crazy, and he was 1 over for his round after 7 when I backed him. Bookies
were offering 1st 2 places 1/4 He was never going to catch the leader but I thought
he was the type of player that coulg go on a run. His back 9 he had 4 birdies and an
    eagle. Thank you Calum :yahoo:

It’s alittle blurred but he was 275/1 :good:

OMG Graham that is amazing :yahoo: :yahoo: Well done :yahoo: :yahoo:

I”m still hitting the bar with my bets..Select 3 went south yesterday but both reserves WON!!
Then Louise told me Friday night to back Elouises Prince on Saturday…guess what…I missed it out and it romped home at 25/1

So sat here licking my wounds wondering when things will turn around..
    Jac :bye:

All good wishes to all and hope you have now regained control of your home Graham… :rose: x

Well I might as well go for the double. The Phoenix Open has started but
Christopher Goterup hasn’t. He’s T11 with 5 others and they are all 4 off
    the lead. He’s just a paltry 60/1 1/4 the odds 3 places But I reckon he’ll
put on a good last round :good:

Thanks Jac and Andre, it must have looked a crazy bet, but I was
looking for a streaky player with bottle. Hill just struck me as
the type of player who could run up a really low round when he had
half a chance. He didn’t let me down, and Cheltenham is just around
    the corner :good:

Darren I’m sorry it was my man that saw you lose, I expected
Gotterup to do well, I just wish he hadn’t burst your bet.
I can’t lie, I’m over the moon the round Gotterup put in
and to have a 275/1 place in the afternoon and followed up
with a 60/1 winner in the evening. The crazy thing was that
Marjorie and I have been watching a series and I wasn’t going
to inflict 4 hours of golf on her. I didn’t even follow it with
the laptop, I only just got the score when I got into bed just
    after 1am :yahoo:

My golf does me well, but this is just mind blowing. Maybe I
should hang my clubs up now
Oh well, one final bask in it, before I get the feck off BigG
    any time now from Paddy……..
