    Thanks Andre :good:
Like you said on Bobby’s Thread such a hard competition to win and there are many more horses in the competition this year with just 1 or 2 choices. I think it will be much more competitive this year but you are climbing up the Leaderboard Andre and that 4th victory is within your grasp this year.. 🏆🏆🏆❓️ :yahoo:

I’m amazed to be leading the TTF this year..I just planned to select 10 grey horses for fun and see how they faired by the end of Cheltenham. Sadly I do have one out for the season with injury who is Masaccio who ran a couple of terrific races against The Jukebox Man at Newbury and Kempton last season, would have loved to have seen those two race together again The Jukebox Man looks really well and won so well yesterday.
With State Man being a non runner for many TTF players quite a few of us are waiting on the swap window next year..you can guarantee mine will both be grey..lol 🤣😅 they seem to be stepping up for me at the moment but I’m just enjoying the moment as with all the big guns ready to fire my ‘Silver Army’ are going to have to dig deep. :rose:

Graham..what can I say you are just Magic ✨️🌟 with those golfing bets and best of luck with your player today.. :yahoo: Jac x

Thanks Andre and Jac, yes the golf has been saving me when I
haven’t got my head round the full study I used to do for all
the horses, but I’m determined I’ll get my head back into it.

    In the meantime ……..

That’ll do for me and my man Valimaki, who I’ve got at 9/1 for
the outright win, is 6/4 favourite. Hopefully he can hold on tonight
for the win. A lot can happen in 18 holes

Your boy did it! Great job Graham! :yahoo:

Love seeing you in contention Jac – long may it continue. Hopefully I’ll move closer to the top over the coming weeks. Don’t want to get to far behind.

He did Andre at 9/1 same bet. A great week at the golf. I think it’s
intuition as much as seeing who is going the right way. The horses are
still my favourite but I’ve not really been up to heavy studdying lately.
The golf is a good standby meantime :good:

I’ll do my best Jac and you keep your 10 greys piling on
the pressure in the TTF. What a tremendous knowledge you
have in the horses Jac. You are without doubt the Head Honcho B-)

That’s very kind Graham you know how much I love my grey horses, Bristol de Mai always got me off to a flyer at Haydock in the past so I decided to do something a bit quirky and only choose grey horses for my TTF entry.
I must admit it wasn’t easy to find them and with Caldwell Potter taken out for the season I substituted him with. Il Etait Temps who is running so bravely this season.
Long may it last and a long way to go until Cheltenham, I’m really enjoying Bobby’s competition, it has given me back an interest in NH that I have lost over the years since Desert Orchid and One Man reigned supreme.

I know brilliant players like Andre and Mike007 (currently leading by a whisker 🤪😜)amongst others have strong stables and of course the Bonus races make all the difference.

I know it would be a miracle to win Bobby’s TTF with a stable consisting entirely of greys but at least they’re all trying their best that’s all I can hope for is that they all come home safely. :rose:

Thanks again Graham and keep putting up those golfing bets you are giving us all a Masterclass in Bookie Bashing at the moment. :mail: Jac

I’ll try my best Jac, I’ve copied my picks from Darren’s Sports bets thread.
It starts in just under 3 hours …….

    Australian Open

Sebastian Munoz 20/1 PP (30/1 5 places PP 1st round leader market)

Renato Paratore 250/1 PP (100/1 6 places Boyle 1st round leader market)

Thanks for the heads-up about the early start Darren, I’m pretty sure I
would have missed it. Cheers and best of luck (I nearly had a bet on Peterson)*

    *Darren bet Peterson*

I stuck this up in the Horse Racing thread, but just in case any of
my old muckers here didn’t catch it there I reckon it’s worth repeating ……

Not quite sure where to put this one but I thought it was worth a mention.
It doesn’t warrant a write-up in the Big Races – Discussion as it’s a pretty
average Handicap at Thurles but I’ve been keeping an eye on Jouster ever since
his very eye catching run at Fairyhouse last Jan (24) where he was travelling
very well before unluckily knucking over and falling a couple out. That was a
Hurdle where he was running off 92.

He won next time out over Hurdles, 2m 4 1/2f at Fairyhouse (Feb 24) off 94.
Ran up a double with a Beginners Chase over at Tramore and a Hurdle race at
Fairyhouse off 102 in Nov & Dec24. His Chase mark was raised to 114.

He ran another 3 times for Gavin Cromwell without much success before
moving to Paul Flynn in October 25. His 3 runs for Flynn were equally
unsuccessful, the last over an inadquate 2m, but as a consequence his
Chase mark has dropped to 102, his last hurdle win mark and down 12lbs
from his Chase mark earlier this year.

Albeit his last few runs haven’t been up to much, he showed some
decent form off this mark last year and hopefully at 6 years he’s
not done yet. For what it’s worth I reckon the 28/1 5 places with
Paddy Power is worth a punt. :good:

Well Jouster ran a very decent race, was still there going to the
last but tired on the run-in. With that nice Paddy Power going 5
places, and Jouster finishing 5th it was still a nice return at
    28/1 :good:

The golf is going ok, Munoz is joint 3rd at 4 under in the 1st round,
although play was suspended owing to darkness with Munoz still having
4 holes to play. 5 under would get him joint 2nd, I think it’s very
unlikely he can catch the leader who is 7 under, 2 shots clear of the
field. A place at 30/1 is still a result, unless he does something daft
    in the last 4 holes.

I was getting very excited about my man Paratore who was 3 under after
6 holes. He certainly didn’t look like a 250/1 shot. However he dropped
a couple of shots and is 1 under but like Munoz he has 4 holes still to
play as both were out late, so you never know. He’s not out of it anyway,
    not yet

Graham your horse Jouster ran a really good race today bagging 5th place at 28/1 that’s a good EW return. :yahoo:

Best of luck with Muñoz and Paratore..what a price you got for him at 250/1, when can you ever back a horse EW at that price.

    Jac :good: ⛳️ 😎

Not too often Jac but odds of well over 100/1 are common place
in the golf, it’s picking the right one that’s the problem

They have been good to me these last few weeks but my big odds 250/1
Paratore had 2 late bogies which made him miss the cut by 1 stroke.
He’ll come good yet, he’s a very decent golfer on his day.

I stuck in a sub for Paratore last night (early hours Friday morning)
and before he went out on his 3rd round. Ricardo Gouveia was 8 under,
leader is now 12 under. I took him at 33/1 but he’s played 6 on his
3rd round and picked up 2 birdies for 10 under. He’s now generally
20/1 so if he comes good I’ll post my bet.

On the horsey front I’m taking a bit of a chance with Bhaloo in the
12.30 at Newbury. He’s a decent sort but can spit the dummy on the
odd occassion. He’s run well off his mark and he’s a Newbury winner.

    12.30 Newbury – Bhaloo 20/1

*All typed up early hours, but not sent (fell asleep  )

Gouveia is now in a 3 way tie for 1st place. He’s now between
7/1 and 11/1. Definitely having to show the bet after not posting
above until this morning. Bet365 offering £60 for a £30 bet. Not
    taking that :negative:
