Thanks Andre and HDLG, maybe the universe is levelling things
up as it let me get very ill. Either way, it’s been a brilliant
weekend but why oh why didn’t I stick Alexei in my TTF when I
had all the info on him I need

Anyway, my man Schenk is 2 shots clear of the field having
played 14, I hope he can hold on

Schenk and Kenyna on the 18th. Kanaya is the only one that could catch him,
unless they both have tripple bogeys  so I’ve covered the bet a bit by
taking Kanaya at 13/2 with Paddy. Schenk still 1 shot clear.

cheers Andre, that last hole was a nerve jangler. Thankfully Schenk
kept his nerves better than me. What a weekend :yahoo:

I’ve taken about 2 grand out of Paddy this weekend, there was a tennis
treble which I put on before I went to sleep and when I woke it was up !!!!

I think I’m going to have to have a couple of no hoper bets to placate
Paddy. I’ve lost 3 bookmakers and I’d hate to lose Paddy or get the dreaded
restrictions per bet. Coral used to allow me at times 1P or 2 P, I kid
you not. I had to pull the plug. Whatever happened to the Freddie Williams
of this world, God rest him, I actually made a point of going to Freddie’s
pitch when he was at Musselburgh, I didn’t care what odds he was offering
I just wanted to speak to him and get a ticket from him. I’ve still got it
somewhere, obviously it was a loser. The man was a legend and fearless :rose:

Outstanding bookie bashing Graham! :yahoo: Love to see it!

Yes, you better place a few questionable bets with Paddy before they kick you out. Ahhh yes, the bookies of old are long gone unfortunately. I worked for one, on weekends for a couple of years, back in the early/mid 70s. My pay went straight back into his pocket most weeks, after my losing bets. (I say weekends, but back then it was really only Saturdays as there was no racing on Sundays).

Sounds like Graham has been hammering those bookie chappies :good: :good: :good:

I have just popped on here to let you know I have entered the Godolphin Fantasy League after I think a couple of years off so hopefully that will keep me flat interested throughout the winter

Godolphin Fantasy Competition has kicked off today :yahoo: 🤔

Glad to see you have made an entry Raymo and best of luck. :good:

I won’t be running a competition this time as the main competition has been so badly organised the last few times with the lack of Bonus Races etc and even this time a lack of advice as to which horses will be running at Meydan in the coming weeks.

Having said that I have polished off my crystal ball and entered 10 horses.
The only 2 Godolphin representatives running today are in the 2.40 at Meydan so the other 8 are stabs in the dark.

Come back to let us know how you’re points are going if you do enter and after the Dubai World Cuo I will put up the scores and see who is the winner 🏆

I reckon Graham will be having much more fun with his golf bets but hope to see all the usual suspects possibly taking part including John if he changes his mind.

Good luck with all the comps this weekend I have 2 of my ‘Silver Army’ hopefully running..
    Grey Dawning & Lossiemouth
I know Andre will be cheering her home :yahoo:
Just bring them all back safely.

Good afternoon to all of you – I hope that everybody are all
    well and fighting fit.

BigG how are things with you? Do you have any Golf Bets this
    week?

Somebody much more famous than I will ever be, once said that they can
resist any thing except temptation and I have fallen into the
trap has far as the Godolphin Competition is concerned and have
made an entry. I have to be honest and say that I went for a
    Lucky Dip. :negative:

It does mean that I can keep in touch with Meydan Thursdays through
the Winter months and hope that the weather is not to bad. Spring
is always worth looking forward too.

    Many Thanks
    John :good: :bye:

    Hello Everyone,

Looking forward to some good racing today. (Craft show is tomorrow  )

I’m sure I will get sucked into another Godolphin comp, as John said so eloquently – temptation is hard to resist!

Hopefully we’ll all get a few comp winners. Lossiemouth looked very impressive today. Hopefully Grey Dawning will win for you.

    Take Care All

Oh MG..just come out from behind the sofa 🫣 to watch last two jumps in the Betfair Chase and Wow what a race Grey Dawning ran :yahoo: All credit to Royal Pagaille who will turn 12 next year he is such a wonderful horse.
So lovely that they all came back safe and sound and also in Lossiemouth’s race at Punchestown..how easy was that Andre. :yahoo:

The TTF comp is keeping me going at the moment but so many good horses yet to run I’m enjoying the moment while it lasts :good: Jac x

Hi John, there’s no European Golf this weekend and with one thing
or another (2 hospital visits) I missed the start of the Pga and
RSM Classic. I’ve had a plunge on Sami Valimaki at 8/1 to be 3rd
round leader. He doesn’t T Off until 4.20. I’ve also bet him for
the tournament outright at 9/1. Also on the outright betting I’ve
taken a chance on Andrew Putnam at 16/1, he’s 4 behind and if he
gets his putter going he can definitely hit a couple of low rounds.

Sorry John, I wrote that ages ago, but didn’t press send. I haven’t been
able to check where they are, I’ll try again shortly :good:

Oh this is far too handy, he’s actually the leader having played 9
holes and a round so far of 4 under. He’s 18 under and 1 shot ahead
of the field. As I said John, it’s too convenient to post the above
now, even though I wrote it hours ago. This should fix it …..

Nicely done Jac, your TTF is mounting up nicely. Grey Dawning sat as quiet
as a church mouse until after the last when Harry Skelton just moved him
up from 1st to 2nd gear. Looks like a lot of points will be coming your way :good:

Having said all that, what can you say about Lossiemouth
Paul Townend looked like he was sitting in an armchair throughout .
Fortunately I have her too in my TTF, I’ll be a bit miffed if Mullins
skips the Champion Hurdle this year. I think there are big question marks
about Constitution Hill who will be 9 come March. I think a fully fit
Lossiemouth deserves to go the Champion Hurdle route and I just get a
feeling (no more than that) that Constitution Hill might again be absent
come the day. Personally I think the 7/2 is an absolute steal with Paddy
Power. I can see her being favourite and towards odds on at the CH.
