Good luck Graham in the first two at Meydan.
Vale Of Kent is definitely the dark horse for me today he’ll either slip the field or come last.. lol Hope the latter.
GABR .. 3.40 ..NON RUNNER..

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...January 7, 2021 at 10:37 #1516694Hi Big G.
I’m in agreement with you about the potential of Sanad Libya.
Needs to transfer dirt form to turf, but will get every assistance from low weight, mark and low draw. Racing Post says not bred to appreciate turf, or words to that effect, but they have a tendency to chuck the baby out with the bath water. Those odds and the fact you’ve got a third of the field on your side great chance.
I hope Clomel gets rescheduled as I had one lined up that was running 20 lb well in based on subsequent performance of a rival it had slammed and was down from it’s winning weight from that time too.January 7, 2021 at 13:31 #1516708Cheers Sam, I hope you’re right about Sanad Libya, I think Skybet were sticking
their heads above the parapet with the 20/1 odds and the 5 places. There will be a
rule 4, 20p, but they still play 5 places as long as 12 run and with the 3 non
runners there are 12 standing so I hope nobody else pulls out. It makes it an
even better bet, 16/1 5 places with 12 runners, I’d take that every day of the
week. It’s a pain when you’ve dug one out and you know you’re well ahead of the game
and then they abandon the meeting. Hopefully the reshedule it and you might get
another crack at it
January 7, 2021 at 13:51 #1516713Good luck everyone
3.40 – Eqtiraan 12’s skybet 5 places (each way) an out of sorts type ex Hannon, has ability but was always too keen to do himself justice as a younger horse, Showed signs of improvement though the last year finishing 2nd on final run and was 4th 2 lengths behind Boerhan 34 days ago that horse about 4/1 joint favourite for this so a little to make up but not a shock if can do so.
Good luck with Vale of Kent, great price but I’m slightly concern at the distance but will be happily proved wrong

Vale Of Kent is definitely the dark horse for me today he’ll either slip the field or come last..

JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...January 7, 2021 at 15:33 #1516728Cheers Jac, I’m mightily relieved to be back on the flat, where I had a good year,
after the poorest start to the jumps I’ve had in a long time. Hopefully I’ve turned
a corner, but I’ll wait to see how I get on with Sanad Libya before I get carried away.
I’m so glad Maydan has started up again
January 7, 2021 at 15:44 #1516734What a call NH.
January 7, 2021 at 15:47 #1516735That was the kind of winner you like to have Nathan, no sweating it out
in a close finish. He’s one to watch, very well done
January 7, 2021 at 15:48 #1516737Me too Graham even with a 0-0 start to the day but then….
Nathan turns in the second win of the day on here with Eqtiraan
Great shout there.
Sheikh Hamdan horses are on fire today.Thought Nick and I might have grabbed a place there with Colour Image but he faded in the last few furlongs.

Great to see racing on Turf at last I’m waiting for the last race for my next bet I think..keep on going. Jac

Things turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...January 7, 2021 at 15:51 #1516739Thanks guys, I love that horse..
Thought he had a great chance of placing but wasn’t expecting him to bolt up like that
I backed him for the guineas after his debut but he went a bit rogue afterwards, nice to see him more straight forward.Charles Darwin to conquer the World
January 7, 2021 at 16:15 #15167414.15 Final Thought 10/1 Bet365
Had a look through the 3 year old race, and the 2 at the head of the market,
Soft Whisper and Looktotherainbow are both by Dubawi and should be suited to
this, but I thin that FT, nicely bred by Sea The Stars, would have a shout.January 7, 2021 at 16:27 #1516745I’ve stuck Final Thought on my tracker. She won last time out despite being slowly
away. She missed the break here too, but ran through them to finish a good 3rd.
When she learns to break better she’s sure to be in the mix. She’ll be better over
8f or 10f.That’s me for today, I’m happy enough with the way it went. I’ll watch the other
races from Maydan and good luck in the last if you have a go Jac

JacThings turn out best for those who make the best of how things turn out...January 7, 2021 at 16:47 #1516751Right I’ve stuck blown by wind in in place of golden goal so fingers crossed.
He has promptly reared up in the stalls and thrown Royston Ffrench to the ground.
Amazingly he’s remounted they have taken everyone back out if the stalls walking around and reloading….
I see why they remounted himJanuary 7, 2021 at 17:10 #1516778Thank you Tom
Alto Volante 9/1 taken wins nicely at Wolverhampton 4.50
That’s my lot for today ..
Blown By Wind did himself no favours rearing up in the stalls *(Glad he was ok it looked nasty) and he didn’t run a bad race to be 3rd but sadly only 7 runners. Will watch the last race at Meydan with interest and hope someone finds the winner.
Good luck for later at Wolverhampton Sam.
Jac
