    BigG,
    Aunt Dorothy sounds a character
I had a chat with bill in my head and he said to pass on that swimbo and lucky pins are just luck and that your form study is the way to go.
He had to rush off as he had a bingo session to attend and couldn’t find his dress.

My others today are as per my competition choices, just a pity
that Ayr was called off. It must have had plenty of people pretty
angry that it was called off 1 hour before racing

3.00 Sandown Gold Present 22/1 5 places Paddy Power

On his old form he would have a great chance here but he’s been right
off the boil for a while. After a RR, he put a decent looking performance
last time out. If he has got his appetite back he would have a very decent
    chance.

    3.35 Sandown – Gemirande 10/1 Skybet

Ran out a comfortable winner last time out at Wetherby and Venetia Williams
horses always seem to do well when it’s soft/heavy.

Thanks for putting in a word for me Nathan, I could do with it

Nice start to the year with Ibeo Darren :good:

Jac I see you haven’t quite shaken off your seconditis yet. Hopefully
a nice one awaits with your late Wolves choices :good:

Yes my last one runs at 7.10pm and I’ve Napped her…
    AMOR DE MI VIDA
    currently trading around 22/1

She will certainly be the love of my life if she wins tonight..

As you know Graham Archie Watson can always get one ready and she was knocking on the door when ridden by Hollie Doyle in her last but one race.
But last time out she flopped badly. However, looking at the race write up she was bumped at the start which meant she lost momentum and IMO any chance of winning a 5f sprint. B-)

Well done Darren great start to 2021 but as Graham said shame about Ayr calling it off at the last minute..

Fingers crossed for the lucky last. :rose:

I’m looking forward to the Fantasy stables Jac,
The bookies have made me fav to finish last so the pressure is on you lot…

The “Spirit of Swimbo” had its 2nd winner yesterday albeit at 8/15
I reckon your next bet that you put up on here will be a winning one BigG but don’t put the house on it incase Billion is having a funny five minutes..

I checked the Club Godolphin link, but they have no horses listed yet. Stable selection starts on Jan 14th I believe. I’ll just bide my time for another couple of weeks.

It’s back to work (from home) for me tomorrow. I certainly can’t say I’m ready to get back…. :-( having a pretty quiet 10 day or so break has been really nice.

I was disappointed in Hook Up at Fairyhouse today, I fancied her (in the AP contest) for the Mares Novice Hurdle at Cheltenham.

    Stay Safe Everyone!

Hello everyone and a Happy New Year to you and above all else stay safe and healthy.

I hate to start on a discordant note but Nathan with my track record in the Godolphin
Competition you will not be bottom.

I hope to regain my interest and once more be involved though.

Euroalien is quite right to say that the selection starts on Thursday January 14th with
Thursday January 21st the opening date for Points to be awarded.

It looks like the rules are as before so all to play for at the moment.

    Many Thanks :good:

I also checked the Godolphin link searching for a list of horses but looks like they will be keeping us waiting until the selections start on 14th January..

Best of luck back at work (from home) tomorrow Andre.. :rose:

Nathan .. Billion is keeping his Systems going with the help of Swimbo keep going it’s a really interesting Thread and a great tribute to himself.

John..great to have you back and doubt you will be filling that last position.
I think if you remember to use your swaps carefully and to change more than just the one horse you will find the points racking up..good luck look forward to seeing you there..Jac :rose:

That’s just so funny Jac, 😂 In the unlikely event of actually managing to get
one over the line with his nose in front I reckon it will be the full Gangnam
    Style for me :yahoo:

Plenty of time Graham you’ll be giving those bookies a thumping very soon. :yahoo:

Burning the midnight oil tonight as couldn”t sleep so came down to study a few races a Lingfield tomorrow (later today).

Two nice recently turned 3yo’s running both put on eyecatching runs last time kicking of with..

    12.40 Lingfield . Class 4 .. 7f
    FAYATHAAN – 8/1 EW

By Mehmas he was outclassed in his last race but before that ran at Cl4 level over 6f where he was out the back and very lit up, however he quickly made progress to dispute the lead and finished a very nice 3rd..definitely a nice price winner to come or at least place prospects today. :good:

    2.10 Lingfield . Class 5 .. 1m2f
    KING OF CLUBS- 5/1 WIN

Bred to stay this fella ran an eyecatching maiden last time out to be 4th over 1 mile this extra 2 furlongs can only be in his favour. :good:
Up against a decent Godolphin horse Tambarrada who is favourite and J Gosden runner Defined so all to do…fingers crossed here.

Win and EW on both and Double

Have a free £10 bet from Paddy so will be investing that.
    :good:
Thought I might cheer up a miserable Monday whilst taking down the Christmas decs.. 🎊🎉🎈
Best of luck if you have a bet tomorrow. :good: Jac

    Burning the midnight oil indeed.!
    Good morning.
Did you see the stewards verdict on Rohaan?
They banned the jockey for his ride, even though Rohaan was clearly visibly lame.
Absent trainer also blamed jockey. Something amiss there. GL with selections.

To be honest it’s looks quite a low key start to the festival
Highest rated in the trial is 90 and the Sprint is missing all the old regulars, but I am sure you help me out :good:
