Unfortunately it tastes of bananas, and for that reason only I wish everyone a Happy Christmas rather than a bottle of Bah Humbug.

I think that we should all remind ourselves how lucky we are to have this forum, and thank David and all the others for the efforts that they put in to allow us the pleasure. If you ever need any reminding , just pop your head in occasionally to one of those other places.

Merry Christmas to all TRFers, and here’s hoping for a happy, healthy
and prosperous year for us all. It’s been another memorable year here,
with a combination of seasoned members (you know who you are) and a good
smattering of young blood, who have kept this forum relevant and bursting
with great insight (well mostly) and plenty of cut and thrust. Thanks to
David and Matron for keeping the boat afloat, it’s very much appreciated

A big thank you from me, too. Gone are the years when I used to sit on my own watching the King George with just a bottle of advocaat and a packet of Old Holborn for company [the rest of the family used to shut me in a room all by myself on Boxing Day]. I can now bore you all with my after timing etc. Happy Christmas guys and gals, and a Happy Christmas to all the horses and stable staff that make this sport of ours so wonderful.
