Simple SolutionRace needs to become a seriously testing affair for Fantasia or Golden Stream to really place any challenge towards Rainbow View.
I think she is the ultimate choice as a readied filly to claim a Group 1 event while most of her opponents appear to be raw and seeking some ideas on their 1,000 Guineas/Oaks campaigns next year.
Golden Stream has a good head about her. That Maiden was strong and she finished off in good time. I also think Dreamtheimpossible maybe quite forward too.
September 23, 2008 at 11:47 #182053Rainbow View looks outstanding.

September 24, 2008 at 00:47 #182143Looking forward to seeing Rainbow View go again
Fantasia looked like a really nice filly last time out but even Luca Cumani says Fantasia will be going for a place here
September 24, 2008 at 12:58 #182180Cumani said on ATR yesterday that he thought Rainbow View was the best 2yo filly he’d seen since he’d been training…. Genuine or trying to deflect attention from his filly?
September 26, 2008 at 17:37 #182406I’ll try my hand with Dreamtheimpossible e/w, should like the ground and the trip.
September 27, 2008 at 01:44 #182453It would be great to see Rainbow View continue her progress impressively here.
I will go for Brief Candle at a big price to chase her home.
September 27, 2008 at 03:38 #182466Rainbow is something special and I cannot wait to see the race. No need for a bet in this one – except possibly as the first leg of a Gosden double.
September 27, 2008 at 16:20 #182524I am on Rainbow View for the 1000 ante-post.
However, with 8 runners I do believe Fantasia at around 6/1, Brief Candle 66/1 and Beat Seven 100/1 are good each way bets today.
Saw Fantasia at Goodwood and was impressed, Rainbow View should win though. Brief Candle and Beat Seven are yet to reach their peak, may not improve enough but who knows.Mark
Value Is EverythingSeptember 28, 2008 at 05:21 #182631I am on Rainbow View for the 1000 ante-post
She was impressive. So far so very good.
September 28, 2008 at 13:18 #182638She’s a top class filly, no doubt about that, but she’s not very big and has shown some signs of temperament.
There has to be a chance that this fairly "made" 2-y-o won’t train on, and I wouldn’t be over-quick to get on her for next year’s classics.
September 28, 2008 at 15:53 #182654Well she could do no more than win which she did comfortably and her size doesn’t bother me, after a small filly is favourite fro the Arc. I am not sure why you would want to pick holes in her about temperament or not training on. A worthy 1000 favourite imo.
September 29, 2008 at 14:39 #182671Like a few of dynaformer’s I think she’s just a bit mental but I actually believe that is a good trait when it comes to racing as she likes to dominate.
I think the first two are very high class fillies in the making.
September 29, 2008 at 14:56 #182673Mill Reef was only small – look how good he was.
September 29, 2008 at 15:52 #182690It was a good performance from the winner, but I certainly wouldn’t be taking the short price about her winning next year’s 1,000 gns. She had to work just a little bit more than previously for this win and you have to wonder how much more improvement is left in her.

September 29, 2008 at 19:15 #182721It not that fact that she is small, she is like built like a bull, very similair to johanasburgh and horses who are built like that dont really make much improvement from 2-3
September 29, 2008 at 20:34 #182732Different sires. She isn’t built like a bull – At least not from where I was standing. I think she will improve further, as will Cumani’s filly. I thought it was a very impressive performance and if fantasia had not run people would be shouting greatness. Fantasia will win a G1 next year as will Rainbow View.
