Max Dynamite is as low as 8/1 Favourite for the Cesarewitch but it seems highly unlikely to me that he is going to run in the race.
Willie Mullins has indicated that the Melbourne Cup is the aim and he is hoping to get Max Dynamite out to Australia fairly early to get him settled in and acclimatised. That would mean he won’t run in the Cesarewitch.
Mullins is hopeful that Max Dynamite will have earned a high enough rating for his runaway win to enable him to get straight into the Melbourne Cup. I think he probably will and as a horse on the up I reckon he is worth taking a chance on at 20/1 for Australian glory in November.

8/1 for the Cesarewitch

Thanks for the good crack. Time for me to move on. Be lucky.
August 22, 2015 at 15:11 #1180591He didn’t particularly strike me as a stayer over hurdles and I am not sure that he would be best suited by an end to end gallop over 2m2F in the Ces.
He was a 10-12F before going jumping with Mullins, so the 2M Melbourne Cup looks tailor made for him as they don’t always go too fast in that and he looks to have a lot of speed. It also wouldn’t look bad on Mullins CV either.
August 22, 2015 at 15:19 #1180593Wondered if Godolphin had bought Pallasator for the Melbourne Cup, although his temperament wouldn’t exactly be suited for it [bit of an understatement that].
August 22, 2015 at 22:15 #1180940Max Dynamite looked the winner from the off. Settle and travelled lovely, Frankie got him switched off and he seemed to like the going (good-soft) although describe as being dead. The owner seems very keen to go to Melbourne. My worry would be the going, I must admit to not having a clue to what the going is likely to be in Melbourne or what the normal going is there but it always looks so hot over there and Max Dynamite has never run on anything better than good and even then he came 8th of eight although that was in a Group 1.

November 3, 2015 at 15:06 #1220242The only time I have seen Stevecaution posting is either to confirm he won’t be posting anymore, or to give himself a pat on the back for a previous post! Looking for some love Steve?
