Ollie,
For some reason, I can’t seem to access the RP today, so I don’t know if we have a selection. I can get most other sites on my favourites, apart from RP and my Home Page at NTL… so frustrating.

March 3, 2004 at 07:22 #51405Brico,
If you had told me earlier I could have checked for you. If Metal Detector’s race was above average prize money I think it might have ccounted as picked by just about all tipsters and well clear 200+ on AM.
Ive still got yesterday’s RP, so could still check but haven’t got yesterday’s AM ratings have you?
Ollie
March 3, 2004 at 07:56 #51406Ollie,
I had quite a frustrating morning (and n/shift) so I was ready for my bed and really peed off. Today is going the same way…still can’t access RP or NTL but I can get all my other fav’s, including AM’s ratings. Metal Detector was definately top on AM’s figure’s but I had no way of knowing if that horse was the highest tipped amongst two clear fav’s at one meeting…(Joint 2nd fav’s at the meeting would automatically discount it, as well as Joint 1st fav’s). Anyway 1/6 would be way too short for me to have any personal interest.
Until I get this computer problem sorted I wouldn’t mind you posting if you verify a selection. If you are confident about the selection procedure.
Let me know Ollie.

March 5, 2004 at 19:05 #51408Ollie,
Think we had a winner on Thursday… I used the teletext and Double Honour was the best of two clear fav’s at the Taunton meeting (14 tips). Checked AM’s ratings (5*175) and (+£112) above average prize for that meeting. Couldn’t really count it because not sure how teletext compares with the RP tips.
Anyway, lost the Browser and email last night…just after dinner, so I could’nt access anything. Spent half the morning on hold before I got an NTL advisor to get me to ping different IP numbers using the CMD function, for them to tell me the problem was at their end and nobody else had told them. Managed to get back on line this evening at 5pm…it’s been a nightmare 24 hrs.
Anyway, seem to have everything back in order again now and can access the RP.

March 5, 2004 at 20:07 #51409Welcome back Brico!
March 5, 2004 at 21:13 #51410Welcome back boss.
I had a look for a selection on Thursday but according to the selection box there were joint favs for the most tipped. If I’m reading the rules correctly, "there has to be TWO CLEAR (not joint) fav’s." Therefore, I had Taunton down as a no-go. Was I right?
March 5, 2004 at 22:14 #51411Cheers Urby,
That’s correct…as long as you remembered to count each tip, coz they don’t always add up correctly.
That just tell’s me that Teletext tips and RP tips don’t agree with each other. If I remember, I might do a cross reference each day to see if they are the same.
We could have a pick for tomorrow but Adrian Massey hasn’t put out any ratings for Doncaster…he’s starting that bloody lark again.
March 6, 2004 at 07:42 #51412NO 3* TIPS TODAY
Rodalko came close with (9 tips)(+£9695) but there are no AM’s ratings available for Doncaster…He might be saving us all some money coz I fancy Shardante…
March 6, 2004 at 08:09 #51413Brico,
Had worked out the race before your post as hoping to go to Donny, they are my 2 against the field!
Ollie
March 6, 2004 at 08:53 #51414Good luck Ollie,
Hope you have a pleasant day out…managed to get 16/1 on BF earlier for Shardante (small stakes)…

March 6, 2004 at 20:00 #51415Both ran badly!
Sadly Rodalko’s 2 races in close succession told, travelled like the winner to the home turn, then got juice ran out.
Enjoyable day nevertheless
