    Sadly a fatal fall for poor MAX FLAMINGO in tonight’s Ulster National at Downpatrick. His only fall in 27 races. Commiserations to all who loved and cared for him. The loose Streets of Doyen was heading to the jump and looked likely to land in the screens which were very close to the landing side – I assume all was well with him as the camera was quickly diverted and there’s been no further mention.

    Saddened to hear this. Only 9 but he seemed to have been around forever. With the same trainer throughout his career his stables will be a very sad place tonight. RIP
