Matt,
How did you ever manage to get to school unscathed? It’s a wonder you managed to cross roads safely!
Take it from me, displaying such an avid interest in horses and odds in your youth is definitely going to cause you much unhappiness at some point in the future. More importantly, perhaps, is the statistical fact that you will create untold worry and sadness for your family and loved ones.
Kick it in to touch now, do all the normal teenage things, get some stability around you and then and only then make it just one of many other interests. If you don’t believe me now, try ignoring anything to do with the gee gees for a month. If you can’t do that then you have your answer.
KMay 26, 2009 at 15:48 #230238What……Basically as i was typing it in to a message i forgot what it was called so as i looked back for some reason i typed the wrong name in. i have not tried to claim that i want tranquil tiger down as one of my winners, all i did was make an easy mistake??????

May 26, 2009 at 16:46 #230255Very interesting. I think it’s called ‘avoidance’ ……. I detect a selfish gene…. but to hell with the potential consequences. Matt will do exactly what Matt wants to do.
Please: Fellow TRF members.. do not engage Matt in any discussions where he mentions betting and betting odds in his posts. Do not congratulate or commisserate with him if he quotes the odds. He is underage to be betting and by us reinforcing his betting/odds hobby we are potentially leading him on the road to despair. Do you really want that? Would you want your 15year old son to be led astray by hardened gamblers? Please think twice.
Thank you
KenMay 26, 2009 at 16:56 #230260Hi Matt. I know this is your page etc. So excuse me if I try to beat ya on a day to day basis.
Hammys tips today areAilsa Carmel 20 Leics Nap
Attacama Crossing 40 Leics
Safari Special 220 Chepstow
Lauras Lady 4 40 Redcar
Breeze Out 7 05 Hex NBThe nap runs in the first ran a cracker in a grade 3 to be 3rd at Newbury. Will certainly be ready after that and with normal improvement I make this a standout today.
Attacama Crossing stayed on after chasing leaders at Haydock over 6f coming back to 5f could be ideal for this sprinter for the in form yard
Lauras Lady has to be respected from GA Swinbank yard whose horses always run well at this track ( winner yesterday) A winner last time at the track she won her maiden by 1/2 l from Who s Shirl (2nd again yesterday)
Form working out so good value at 9/2Safari Special 3rd last time is fair form and again looks set to improve over Avon Valley
I like the look of Breeze Outs run over 2.7m Hntr chse at Down patrick with the champ booked I fancy him to run very well over these smaller obs
May 26, 2009 at 17:01 #230263Postscript to above: Perhaps Corm needs to seriously consider whether 15 year olds should be posting on this particular section of the forum which, clearly has a betting aspect to it, please?
I’m sure Corm does not wish to potentially risk endangering the reputation of TRF as a responsible organisation.
Regards

May 26, 2009 at 17:07 #230265This thread has called to mind a memory of hovering outside the local bookies age about fifteen trying to find a bloke irresponsible enough to put my 5p yankee on for me
May 26, 2009 at 17:37 #230272I don’t have a problem with Matt posting his tips up here – if anything it shows discipline and a good honest record of his selections along with a P&L should hammer home the fact that it’s a tough ol game

-£8.50Ouch! didnt think it was as bad as that Matt. Why youd have been better tipping up every horse in three 10 runner events at least you might get lucky with 3 decent prices lol. Sorry you had a bad run but thats what its like and for some the runs keep going on and on . The thing about luck is that it changes but the crunch is … you dont know you got it till its gone
