May 25, 2009 at 16:16 #230016Hammy the Hamster has been away for a week so he s gonna have another go .
Kingdom of Fife 355 redcar
RL Moore s only ride and Stoute s only runner here looks a real good bet even at prohibitive odds at 2/1. Ran really well in a grade 2 last time and I think this track will suit him well. Negative is that this track is my local and I have noted in the past that it is a graveyard for fav s. But I would make this my nap of the day !
Russian jar 535 leics.
Made to Ransom 310 Goodwood
Miss Pelling 205 leicsMade to ransom beat Decision by 5 L carrying 9-13 and looks sure to improve and this course ground look ideal.
Miss Pelling was headed but kept on inside final furlong drops back a furlong but seems to be on the upgrade and enough to take this
Russian jar a Xaar gelding looks to have the right feel in this mediocre race. M. Jarvis will be sure to have him fit and he loves this Leicester course for sending first time out winners
rec. 10pt win on the Nap and 1pt win yankee on the four

I notice Matt that your not having a huge success of late. All I can say is when you get more experience in tipping its not so much what horses you want to tip …its the races you have to avoid tipping in !! This I find is done by feel rather than paper fact !! Look first at all the negatives as why you shouldnt pick a particular race in the first place. Narrow it down to the bare bones. If the races look trappy or even if a horse looks TOO GOOD at short odds then leave it alone. There may be days that you will not find a race suitable then avoid the day….there s always tomorrow. Approach the situation as if you were playing the stock market or investing in a major business venture. ie finding out ALL the facts and figures along with the FEEL and in the right type of race.
All too many pick for the sake of it but if your shrewd enough you ll find the right races. Im no master at it myself but have learned I can easily discard many " dont touch with a barge pole races" Hope this is helpful mate and oh of course every one needs luck !! cheers.May 25, 2009 at 20:28 #230071Monday!

Sorry Matt, but that’s nonsense – you don’t evaluate a race, select a horse to back and then offer the name of another. You’ve already said that you didn’t back Ordnance Row, so there was surely no confusion?
I have to say that, given your age and the nature of your selections, you’re on a very slippery slope.
May 26, 2009 at 12:45 #230193Im afraid Matt I have to agree. If you have put time and effort in to get your selection then you are not going to forget what it is, after all the research ? . Im wondering how much time you ve spent on your tipping homework. I personally would put you in detention for a week till you pick up you naughty boy. You cant expect for us to take you seriously if you come up with excuses like these ! sorry no sympathy given. not surprised really that your strike rate is as low as it is if this is how you arrive at the selections.
