With just under half the season left lets see if I can make a decent profit.
Starting with tonight. Cambridge are a massive 18/1 to beat Man United, which is a ridiculous price. The Mancs may have bought Falcao, Di Maria and Shaw for 100 million + but has anyone ever seen them in a boat? Van Gaal has had a anxious wait all day to see if star player and captain Wayne Rooney will actually fit on the boat…
Anyway enough of the orrful jokes! (I’ll stop now promise!).
My bet for the night is a big 1 point on the Draw @ 7/1. United have struggled a bit when breaking lesser opposition down lately despite going on to get the result. The games against QPR and Yeovil spring to mind, it is only a matter of time before they dont grind out the result. Its always difficult when playing against the lower league teams and with the cameras present I’m going with Cambridge and ex Man United legend Luke Chadwick to earn a replay.
January 23, 2015 at 19:45 #502565Good luck Danny.
I remember Dion Dublin being at Cambridge before United signed him. A shame he broke his leg so early into his United days as he lost a bit of pace after that but was always solid in the air.Gaelic Warrior Gold Cup Winner 2026

January 23, 2015 at 22:27 #502591Cheers Guys,
Great start, In all honesty didn’t have to much to worry about other than the last minute chance for Di Maria, Id say Cambridge looked the more likely!
January 23, 2015 at 22:48 #502599Looking forward to tomorrow, don’t see to many upsets Liverpool, Chelsea and City all look nailed on.
With that in mind I’m going to have 1pt on
Birmingham at 3/1
with B365. Home advantage is a bonus and they have been playing well since the turn of the year. Be interesting to see how the highly rated Demauri Gray gets on if he plays. I suspect Pulis may rest a few for the Baggies with there main aim being to stay up, they didn’t look all that great against a lacklustre Everton and Berahino aside they lack a threat going forward.
January 24, 2015 at 00:52 #502615Excellent start Danny, well done.
January 27, 2015 at 12:07 #503140Typically after I say there wont be many upsets Chelsea and City lose

My prediction that the Baggies would play a weakend side also went West… and they were just to good for Birmingham.
Tonight I’m going to go bold once again and have
2pts on Liverpool @ 5/1
with Hills. Chelsea will be looking to bounce back with a good performance after the result at the weekend and I think this can play into Liverpools hands. With the likes of Sterling, Moreno, Markovic and Coutinho there is plenty of pace to counter attack should Chelsea come out and attack. Theres also the possibility of a Sturridge cameo and I think although he won’t be fully fit his presence will give the Liverpool team a lift.
Profit – +4
January 27, 2015 at 19:42 #503173I hope you’re right Danny but Chelsea do have that away goal so I don’t expect them to expose the defence too much.

January 28, 2015 at 13:33 #503220Sadly you were right Nathan. Plenty to take out of the game for Liverpool, best Ive seen Mignolet play believe I saw some stat, that it was the first time Chelsea hadnt scored in 90 mins in a home game in 65 matches. Created the chances just didnt take them as good as Courtois was should be scoring 1 or 2 of them. May have been a different game had Costa been sent off, possibly the worst refereeing performance ive seen this season!
January 28, 2015 at 22:44 #503263Yeah for sure. L’Pool having been picking up for a while and if Sturridge can quickly fit in when he returns all looks promising for a top 4 challenge.
