Rory Mcilroy 6-1 ew 10 places

Homa 25/1
Sungjae 30/1
Min Woo Lee 45/1
Koepka 50/1
Patrick Reed 66/1
Danny Willett 100/1All e/w top 10, got a bit trigger happy and tried to pick guys both sides of the draw as the weather could play into either sides favour depending on when the rain starts and when/if they suspend play. If I don’t get any e/w money back from that lot then I’ll hang up my coat.
Best of luck everyone!
April 5, 2023 at 15:31 #1642473Have been following Patrick Cantlay from his amateur days to his almost disappearing without trace to his comeback and rapid rise up the rankings. Back him almost blindly and while not a brilliant record in this he does have a top 10 finish.
My favourite stat by far is the SGT2G and Corey Connors has consistently been high up on this stat for a couple of years but some ropey putting has limited him to just two career successes in the same weakish tournament. He does have a good Augusta record though and I can’t resist. Haven’t touched Tommy Fleetwood since he threw a couple of tournaments away through flakey putting at the end of 2020. However he’s back on the winning trail recently, is another always high up SGT2G and think he might have a big week.April 6, 2023 at 01:43 #1642499Sungjae Im 40/1 (boosted PP) 10 places (40/1 6 places 1st round leader market)
Corey Conners 40/1 10 places (50/1 6 places 1st round leader market)
I’ll stick with those 2 who have a decent record here and are in top form.
If it’s looking dire by halfway, I’ll have a rethink. I reckon they will
be in the thick of it.Best of luck guys

To finish in the top thirty. Four trebs and an acca. If they all get there that would be nearly a monkey LOLI did spot one very interesting stat for anyone that is remotely interested. Only two players in the last ten years have finished placed (top ten) the following year after finishing in the top ten. So if you have backed anyone that was in the top ten last year Good Luck

Anyway good luck folks and enjoy it and lets have the winner and a few places this year
April 6, 2023 at 09:42 #1642509I have had to add Sungjae Im after everyone else has tipped him!

Not sure who pitched that one in Raymo, I know my 2 guys have solid form records here.
Corey Conners T10,T8 and T6 in hislast 3.
Sungjae Im was T2 on his first appearance here in 2020.Now that’s unusual
as 1st timers have a poor record. Admittedly hedid miss the cut in 2021 but
he bounced back T8 last year.Cantly had 3 top 10s in his last4 starts
Koepka runner up in 2019, T7 in 2020
Jason Day 5 top 10s in 7 starts.I’m sure there’s more, that’s just from the Power Rankings of 20 players on the PGA site.
Looks like your guy got his sums wrong.April 8, 2023 at 10:52 #1642672No Graham it is top ten finish the previous year not eve. The top ten last year were
SCHEFFLER
RORY
LOWRY
CAM SMITH
MORIKAWA
ZALATORIS
COREY CONNERS
JT
SUNGJAE IM
CHAMP
SCHWARTZELSo they were the first ones I crossed off my short list!!

Looks like it is a Rahm Cupcake shootout!!
How well is the amateur playing!! What a star
April 9, 2023 at 14:15 #1642782Yep looking like a two way shoot out Raymo. If Big Jon keeps knocking them in from 15 feet he’ll take some beating.
Let’s hope it’s an exciting finish, the miserable weather has literally put a bit of a dampener on things the last couple of days.
April 9, 2023 at 14:33 #1642786Augusta cannot do anything about the weather but it can look at its television policy. It was frustrating yesterday when the proper live coverage began only as it was becoming obvious play would have to be suspended.
April 10, 2023 at 03:29 #1642829Well done to Pants and Ben with Rahm
April 10, 2023 at 07:36 #1642832wd winners.
April 12, 2023 at 12:00 #1643027Well done winners
It was eventful and Rahm’s performance was outstanding
And only Morikawa and Scheffler from last years top ten managed to scrape in tenth tied!! So that is a pretty good stat!! even though I say so myself!! LOLApril 18, 2023 at 23:24 #1644482Cheers chaps, don’t think I’ll ever have 5 in the top 10 again, even if I did bet on a ridiculous amount of players, watching the golf every week has finally paid off this season!
