Favourite was in trouble from the outset with that awful jump at the first. She probably didn’t like the ground but she went out like a light.

Another race ruined by a farcical start.

I think theres enough of Elliotts running fine to say his form is ok. You’ll always get some just not handling the course and/or occasion. Some of them like El Cairos might just be pure hype

Some things never seem to change at the start. Maybe they should really change the distance as Jane suggested in order to come in straight and not around a bend. Just add another 30 yards or so.

Another awful result for the punters.

I got 4/1 on Oldschool Outlaw w/o the fav on the exchange just before the off. Made a very bad mistake at the worst possible point (top of the hill) which potentially cost it the race.
Walsh has done me no favours this week at all.

These starts are an absolute shambles. It’s nowhere near as bad at Leopardstown or Punchestown as it is at Cheltenham and Aintree.

Why not just go back to the good old days. Let them come in faster and as long as they’re in a close pack, off we go.

Standing starts are a disgrace. A few are beaten the minute the tape goes up every time and it’s just not fair to connections.
